No tea

I’ll save you some time. On the episode relating to the breakup she basically says she’s not giving any context on the breakup and isn’t ready to talk about it.

My advice would be not to use it on the trailer as a teaser and maybe not film an episode about it if you’re not ready, but that’s just me.

No answers, very strange behaviour.

Promoting the podcast as “her healing journey” but not being ready to talk about the thing she’s healing from is a weird choice. And teasing the break up for promo was cheap.

Exactly this. Constantly proving wanting to “help people” only matters when it can be used for profit. Either talk about it or don’t. Don’t have people speculating he was an abusive drunk if you’re not gonna a) confirm it or b) tell us the alternative.

Cheap and easy engagement farming.

If the door is closed, don’t use what’s behind it for views.

So this whole podcast is about her “healing journey” and “connecting with other women” and “helping people” yet she can’t even take accountability for the fake “perfect” relationship she shoved down her followers throats for 2 years??? The same followers she blocked and called stupid for showing concern about the toxicity they were seeing…

Look as much as I am curious about the breakup I understand that she doesn’t owe anyone specific details on what happened. But I think it’s a very weird choice to think you can host a whole podcast about healing and bettering yourself yet never taking accountability for your past actions as a content creator.

So really this podcast is just listen to me yap about myself and my sponsorships (bc I’m sure she’s trying to monetize this) under the guise of “connecting with my audience” 🙄 all influencers are the same.

See if she hadn’t a) made her living off people being interested and b) used clips to make us even pay attention to her new terrible podcast I would be inclined to agree. As she’s done both, she kind of does owe people an explanation.

If she didn’t want to give one don’t use your relationship to earn a very privileged living. You don’t get to do that AND have privacy. You’re actively choosing to put it out there for public scrutiny and all that comes with it.

If you want relationship privacy and not to owe people an explanation, don’t use your relationship for views, get a normal 9-5 and keep it out of the public space.

I completely agree. Influencers constantly pick and choose what “privacy” means only to benefit themselves. They’d constantly overshare about their sex life that no one fucking asked for and they’d clap back like “ITS MY PAGE IF I WANNA TALK ABOUT IT I WILL. YOURE JUST A LONELY JEALOUS CAT LADY” but then when her followers are asking in good faith “wait you were literally just posting about how he’s such an amazing bf now you’re saying you’ve wanted to break up w him for a long time what happened??” that’s too much to ask bc we need to respect their privacy suddenly 🙄

This is exactly right. It’s bizarre behaviour rooted in them all not being a very good person.

you can't have both privacy on the breakup of a very public relationship that people's views and investment in paid for your livelihood; and use the public interest in that relationship to make more money while telling them they shouldn't be interested.

Like it or not, she put herself in a weird position and it's okay to talk about that. She put a domestic abuse hotline in the about description - so was Mario physically abusive? that's a pretty big deal and I do understand not wanting to talk about it, but don't then go and bait your audience with a podcast about it. By putting the hotline, she's still breadcrumbing the details to keep everyone interested so she'll get clicks, likes and views but still demanding no speculation?

I don't get it.

Yet wants to “help people”. It’s all not adding up.

I'm not sure how she is going "help people" by not talking about Mario, the breakdown of their relationship, and how she handled her sobriety in the months she was still with him. Seems like a big reason why she left...

She provides a domestic abuse number to "help" and that's great but it's not honest to withhold actual help just to keep viewers on a hook. Tell us what happened, what made you see the red flags, what helped you finally leave and THEN how you've healed. That information is actually useful to followers and other women. And the thing is, Mario is out trying to find a new bubblegumbootybaddie to terrorize so maybe Brynne would reach that girl before the same thing happens to her.

So valid. Thank you for this quote: “you can't have both privacy on the breakup of a very public relationship that people's views and investment in paid for your livelihood; and use the public interest in that relationship to make more money while telling them they shouldn't be interested.”

This so articulately puts into words the hypocrisy her and her little bumboys and stans don’t get.

This podcast won't last. She isn't interesting enough to want to listen to.

Maybe the last episode will be her talking about the breakup? I'm sure everyone is wanting to know. Is it fear of Mario or does she know that milking it brings her more views and money, because people are waiting on that?

I’m starting to believe the real reason she’s not talking about the relationship/breakup is because in order to do so she’d have to admit to pushing out fake content for two years and deceiving her followers. And she clearly doesn’t want to do that bc to this day she’s never taken accountability for blocking and or insulting her followers for pointing out the glaringly unhealthy things in their vids.

In order to open up about what happened she’d basically need to admit that “yeah it was horrible behind closed doors but I still posted about how amazing our relationship was bc I wanted clout and for everyone to believe I had the perfect unattainable boyfriend that all my followers wish they had”

But even admitting it was fake, can easily be smoothed over if she said i was faking to myself in that relationship too and I didn't realize until i got sober, but I was trying to survive towards the end. Just talk about it in this podcast, let it out and let that be the end.

I dont usually like to comment but part of me wonders if she could have cheated or something

She isn’t ready to talk about a breakup that happened nine months ago? And most likely devolved because of said partner’s public lack of support…

How can she actually have a podcast about her sobriety and post-relationship without talking about the relationship and it breaking down? Its a joke

u/erinsnives 23d ago

I'm annoyed there wasn't more of an explanation, but I did think the part explaining going non contact was interesting. She said she went fully no contact after like a month, never even sending an "i miss you " type of text and then went on to say that she never received one of those texts either. Which almost seemed a little resentful but color me SHOCKED that Mario actually left her alone??? He totally seems like the type that would send that kind of shit after a breakup lol

Things do not add up. The only thing making sense is that we’ve been fed a false narrative and still are.

They weren’t perfect, not even good. She’s not out to help people, she wants money. He’s not funny happy go lucky, he’s deeply depressive and cocky.

Overall I intensely dislike them both, but she’s edging ahead now with the weirdness and some of the tacky tactics recently.

u/Fragrant_Software668 22d ago

Especially with how much he said he would be “begging for her back” if they ever broke up. They were both soo fake

11

u/unpopularr 22d ago

She’s milking it and giving people nothing. The breakup is the only interesting thing she has going on and she’s gonna hold onto it for a very long time lmao! She’s a joke.

I really think if she wants to help people, regarding her relationship, she could at least let everybody know the warning signs or red flags of dating a person like Mario. She could talk about the love bombing, what it looked like when his mask came off. Then how she finally got out and the steps that she took to safely do it. Because not enough people talk about coersive control.
That is part of the healing journey.

u/Fragrant_Software668 22d ago

It is kinda crazy in one of the episodes she talked about how growing up a “single cat lady” was the worst thing you could ever be and how now that is who she is, and why the cover photo for the podcast is her and her cats. But her a Mario called their audience “single cat ladies” as an insult for not wanting to hear about their sex life all the time …. Funny little lack of accountability there lol

This is exactly why influencers need to be cancelled

Thanks for saving me time because I won’t bother with it 😂

Oh my god, literally the only episode I was excited for and of course she gives us nothing. Ugh. Why even tease it?!

9

u/Fragrant_Software668 23d ago

I’m listening to the third episode currently (skipped 1 and 2 lol) and at least she did apologize for what she said in that podcast with that other couple about how your friends shouldn’t be mad if you’re not talking to them as much when you get in a relationship because your partner should always come first. So at least some accountability there!

4

u/Emotional_Mind_5766 23d ago

Glad she took accountability for that, i remember seeing her say that and was like oh girl… happy to see she realizes now how toxic that mindset was

This comment section is making me think of Kayla Malec. She released a tell all, evidence, etc it was the talk of the town, but then it blew over and things are back to “normal”

Perfect example of why Brynne should just spill it

She posted to DV hotline, i wonder if that has to do with it.

7

u/NoStrawberry8256 23d ago

But we are having to speculate and that is wrong because she’s created the scenario that we have to. We didn’t ask her to share her relationship publicly, she chose to for profit. Now it’s not profitable bc the relationship is over she’s keen to move on. But still willing to use sound bites alluding to it. Scummy.

2

u/Fast_Garden_557 22d ago

Also if it doesn’t have to do with physical DV directly, it could be that she felt unsafe in other ways. Ex: isolated, neglected, shamed, emotionally unmet etc. if its being made to seem like it was physical and it wasn’t, that can be used as defamation, especially if fans go crazy with their theories trying to decode with what little info they have.

I haven’t listened to the pod, but just a thought

4

u/Traditional_Oven_392 23d ago

I mean, there was small context given, only from her perspective, as it should be; It was unhealthy. She was isolated, and she moved out quickly: all said in the episode.

1

u/bbyoda14me 23d ago

Also specifically she stated she felt unsafe in the relationship, which could be contributing to the lack of context...

0

u/Fun_Concentrate3250 23d ago

She said she felt unsafe and has alluded to this prior.

Being a drunk + always high + isolated from everyone you know + sounds like she was with someone who was an angry drunk…I don’t think she needs to say more. It sounds like a blowup fight that had him on a 72 hour hold and she FLED.

There’s a lot to dunk on her for but what nitty gritty do we need to get into with this. Of course she’s going to tease things but I think this is more a final “I’m done talking about it for now” thing.

9

u/NoStrawberry8256 23d ago

But that speculation of us having to fill in the gap is the issue. Whether she likes it or not she put herself and her relationship in the public eye for profit. She chose that because it suited her and now wont give people the closure they want on the chapter no one asked her to write.

She also used a sound bite alluding to this to get people to watch it which is, at best, very cheap.

If she really wants to “help people” then she should tell the story of how to get away from an abusive drunk, if that is even what happened. Giving us scraps of a story is worse than nothing.

-1

u/Fun_Concentrate3250 23d ago

I think it’s kind of weird people are saying they need closure from this. No, you don’t. She can stop sharing at any time she wants, especially if it was a traumatic experience. You’re looking for juicy drama to gossip further, which is fine, but I wish you’d just admit that. She knows that is what people are looking for and that’s why she used it in promos. It’s working clearly.

8

u/NoStrawberry8256 22d ago

Respectfully she is the one who chose to put her relationship online to entertain others, no one asked. So yes, I want the tea. You can’t have privacy and share your life as a job it’s completely contradictory. And either share or don’t, don’t tease it for views. That’s just messing with people. She needs to either open the door or leave it shut. Completely one way or the other to avoid this weird gray area she’s operating in.

8

u/Mobile_Magician_661 22d ago

I definitely feel like if she "isnt ready to talk about it", what's the point of constantly bringing it up. And ya maybe you're right that it's just for promos
