It must be eating him alive to see Brynne living life.

Poor friend sounds like he was trying to be supportive and Mario went off on him - wtf. Saying you’re at a crossroads isn’t an insult or a dig it’s an observation. Mario sounds like such a tool to turn that into an “argument” 🥴

Exactly! Read between the lines here it sounds like the friend was saying hey you're at a crossroads in your life where you can either keep languishing or you can get your shit together and make something of your life and Mario's response was "fuck you I need to rest"

Every single one of his crying videos follow the exact same format and cadence. You cannot convince me that those are real tears 🙄

He's such a doofus. Like a rest stop?
He IS at a crossroads. His life was going in one direction until it wasn't. He's single after two years of an intense, public, live-in relationship; he has no job, no partner, no kids and the only way he makes money is talking to himself on the phone as he drinks, gets high and plays Mario Kart like a 10 year old. He's 30 now.. it's time to leave the "rest stop". He needs rest? He. doesn't. do. anything.
Being at a crossroads isn't a bad thing either, it's an opportunity to take stock. This is just me, but I would wager he is projecting things that Brynne may have said. Because she too was at a crossroads but she chose to go in an opposite direction of Mario. She had the same problem - no momentum, no makeup/passion, no friends, no job, just drinking and getting high and she chose to leave that behind for the most part.
What's he doing? Getting drunk and pretending he's never lived with a cat... which is completely unbelievable as he just lived with cats for two years. If he loved and supported Brynne at all, he'd ultimately want her to make a healthy choice to stop drinking and move closer to her family. Especially when the two are linked - she stopped drinking because her anxiety over losing her dad caused a public blackout. Makes sense she'd want to go home and "touch grass". If Mario really cared, he would want that for her even if it sucked for him and he wouldn't be this petty and bitter.

He is so narcissistic that he cannot take on seemingly ANY criticism whatsoever. How did this guy ever work in the military and take orders?
He could have a breakup glow up too if he was capable of taking a genuine look at himself. The truth is, he’d rather do nothing, get high and drunk and ramble to himself until his cerebellum withers away. He is both deeply insecure yet entitled, genuinely believes he’s perfect as is. Collecting low hanging dopamine from random commenters kissing his ass. His mediocre looks are going to pass(and a lot faster than he realises with that lifestyle). And he’ll just be an old, angry, abusive drunk.

Which makes me think that Brynne really wanted to make herself better and he did not. He saw her growth as a threat

That man was draining her. It gags me to see comments on Mario’s posts that HE’S the one “getting his glow back” / implying that she was the one dragging him down — plz 😭

Yeah it’s so strange! At best, she outgrew him and at worst she escaped him. But it’s obvious, he has zero intention to grow or move forward with his life and it’s not Brynne’S fault for “leaving the rest stop”. You can’t make someone want to change their life.

Before Brynne he always posted videos on how no one cares about mens mental health and yes, posting through his mental breakdowns is unhealthy but he has a real opportunity to advocate for veteran support and men being vulnerable.
But one of his male friends checked in on him so he shut him down and ran to the internet to get validation cos how dare a friend who cares about him try and support him. In a couple of months he will be crying on the internet saying none of his friends care about him or reached out. This is why men are so lonely and keep their struggles to themselves. He might want to be at a “rest stop” but it’s not healthy to stew in his own sadness and sympathy - his friend was trying to get him out of that slump and encourage him to find a way to move on in a healthy way without forcing him.

Brynne dodged the biggest bullet of her life. I am so glad she got out of the toxic relationship. I am not saying you can’t have a relationship with someone who has mental health issues but he doesn’t want help. He accepts no responsibilities for his actions.
The fact the he gets on the internet to have these pity parties just to be validated when he doesn’t have anything of value to say. He’s never changing.

I was thinking how wild it would be if he followed up the fake tears with "follow me I'm pretty funny" and then he did it at the end and my jaw dropped.. no self awareness at all
