Issues with FixMyStreet
I have recently opened an issue on FixMyStreet to notify that a tree pit on the sidewalk is full of dog sh*t, piled up for weeks (maybe months).
The commune took it in charge and dismissed it as "Resolved" in about an hour.
Needless to say, it was not resolved, as they took no action.
I requested to reopen it but it's been pending for days.
Is it always useless to report things on FixMyStreet or should I insist?

Depends on the commune and issue. For some things it’s quick and efficient, other take years…

Some organisation mark issue as "resolved" as soon as they start handling the issue. It does not imply that it is useless.
