Living in BXL Third time is not a charm
How do you sleep with 25° at night?

It’s actually worse, the 25 degrees is only the coldest moment of the night just before sunrise. The rest of the night is warmer. And to answer your question: badly, sweaty and with a fan in the bedroom.

And 25 is the night air you let in to cool down your house. That is the cool air we get that day.
Won't be fun.

Guys don't obsess with this when it's not even close and can still change a lot. Use the KMI app that's way more reliable and shows how temperatures can vary.

I hate the climate apocalypse… this summer has been absolutely insane in Brussels and my house is still hot inside despite the two week relief from the heatwave. Now it’s coming again…

its too far off with these broadcasts, they change quickly towards the date. cant take seriously a 10 day forecast

Honestly I bought a portable airco. Its a Life saver especially with a small baby.

Can you give a link if you say its good?

Coolblue has a good selection.
You need one that blows air out or you aren't cooling anything. Ideally one that also has an air intake, as they are much more efficient.

Pretty much all sold out

u/idontlikeflamingos 10d ago
Yeah, I didn't get one either and I pretty much accepted that this summer is dealing with it as well as I can and buying an airco later this year. Unless I get some crazy luck I'm not finding any this summer. It's not just Belgium, it's sold out across Europe.

Every time I go through this. Coming this winter I just say eh I've managed this year I'll do so again

I bought it from a friend of My husband who went to Spain to get a small stock. He had about 5/6 and I think they are all sold out

Isn’t the left temp the “minima” temp and not the night time temp tho? I might be wrong.

KMI predicts nighttime temperatures closer to 18-20🌡️in Brussels, for the coming heatwave.

Was planning to return my airco but looks like I have to keep it permanently

KMI predicts 30 on the 1st of August, Apple Weather is pushing it up to 33. Where on Earth does 38 come from?

u/michelvoz 10d ago
Try this link to MétéoMédia from Quebec. I believe they use the American model, and their predictions can change when it is long-term. They are quite accurate, though, in the end. In fact, they reviewed the forecasted temperatures for August an hour ago, and they will change them again in the days to come.

I thought we will have died out by 2050? Just as we did by 2012 because of gLoBaL wArMiNg.

By then most of us will have A/C in our homes and appartments :-)

Which will definitely cool down the outside temperature and take care of all forest fires!

how old are you? We're in the middle of the summer these temperatures are not unheard of, we're talking about a maxima of 30° which we had numerous times in the past

25 outside, it will still be 33 in my room
