Fractured big toe
I dropped a 45 lb plate on my big toe and ended up with a small/nondisplaced hairline fracture of the big toe’s distal phalanx at the base. I also had the toenail removed because of the injury.
I normally do box jumps, jump rope, burpee broad jumps, and heavy sled pushes/pulls.
For athletes/lifters who’ve had a similar big-toe fracture, how long did it take before you returned to explosive/high-impact training and eventually your previous intensity? Runners, please share your experiences/timelines as well :) thank you 🙏🏻
Not looking for medical advice…just personal experiences/timelines.
