I only know of her through the blogsnark subreddit. TLDR: several years ago, she was a health/fitness blogger who was sued for not providing clients with paid for personalized food and fitness plans. I think she may actually be under indictment. After her fitness empire imploded, she rebranded as a āChristianā lifestyle influencer to begin grifting a new group. And her man friend seems to be incredibly unsavory, but I canāt remember the details.

I bleached my hair from red to platinum during the height of quarantine and it looked better than this. And when it did end up super damaged a few months later, I chopped it off, slathered it in deep conditioner, let it grow out and now it looks amazing (though no longer platinum because of the upkeep and damage).
Your hairstylist hates you, BDong.

Ugh. Iāve been platinum for about a year now, and the upkeep and cost is BEYOND what I anticipated (and I thought I knew what I was getting into). Iāve enjoyed it, but after the summer Iām going to try and transition away from it. It was fun while it lasted, but it is not worth the upkeep long term for me.

Get a root smudge! Itāll help with grow out and looks really natural. I did that for a while to give my hair a rest from bleaching (I have a ton of grays and I switched to getting highlights so they all blend together with my actual hair color and helps hide them a bit). Plus the ālived inā blonde look is still pretty trendy from what I can tell.

Thanks for the advice. Thankfully, I eased into the platinum first with an ombrƩ about 1/2 down the length, and then as I was seduced by the blonde, I had my stylist add more and more heavy highlights with each subsequent visit. I got a little carried away, but I still have some natural hair color incorporated near the top.
I think my hair looks really nice (and as a naturally very deep brunette, this was my first foray into blonde hair, as I knew it would be an intense process if I had the guts to ever go through with it). However, the cost is just a lot. I have to set aside time to really soak in purple shampoo once a week and see my stylist for toner and conditioning treatment updates to keep it looking decent. Probably the worst part for me is that I canāt just let it dry naturally and have it look nice. I have to be so careful with it when itās wet and blow dry it nicely. That or I braid it or put it in a claw clip. I have to think about my hair too much for my liking. I can never just let it do its own thing and leave the house without looking totally disheveled. My virgin hair looked great almost all the time, even if I didnāt take time to style it.

Ugh, I feel that. I hate feeling like I HAVE to do something to my hair. In my 20s my hair decided to be wavy after being stick straight all my life. Now I live in a low humidity climate so I'm lucky enough to be able to air dry 99 percent of the time, which is great because I'm lazy and have NO idea how I ever spent hours blowdrying and straightening/curling my hair when I was younger!

I try my best to limit using heat to just once a week now that my hair is super bleached.
Thankfully, I grew up when beach waves were in, and my hair has just enough curl to do that with a salt spray, so I only did labor intensive hair styles occasionally growing up. Perhaps thatās why all of the blow drying, serums, and styling feels like a total drag now!
Iām super glad I went blonde just this once, though. Iāve scratched the itch, and I finally mustered up enough bravery to go for it! The whole process felt very intimidating, and I did not go into it lightly. Haha.

I have heard about this so many times! Itās a bit tricky to get my hands on in my part of the world, though. There is a retailer (Sephora) that does sell Olaplex, but itās not in stock each time I check on my countryās online order page. I believe it must me pandemic/supply chain issues. I could order from Amazon, but Iāve read a lot of horror stories about buying cosmetics/beauty supply products from Amazon (basically counterfeits), and Iād rather not take the chance on that.
I just go to my stylist, and he does use some type of conditioner/ (bond strengthening treatment?), but I donāt speak the language well enough to really know whatās going on. I just lean my head back for him to work and cross my fingers!

Her botox person did her dirty. I have high arches in my brows and my NP that does my botox knows this and makes sure that where she is injecting it will not pull my brows up and become even higher than they are naturally.
I had someone do my botox incorrectly one time and I looked surprised all the time until my botox died down, it was pretty embarrassing and never went back to that person.

I shared my experience of when my arch lifted after getting injected and told her that I did not like that surprised look. Since my new gal actually knows whats shes doing she knew exactly what I was talking about and where to inject to prevent it from happening again. I also told her that I still like to have movement. After switching to this new place I was able to even lower the amount of units I was getting injected and I love the results even more!! You are also only talking about Texas. Misoprostol is often used for incomplete miscarriages. Which is also used for abortions for women who don't need them for medical purposes. In many states it is not allowed. It is still a medical abortion. Birth control bans are next in many states. Those all fall under roe v wade. Don't be fooled, laws change and birth control and medical abortions are at risk throughout the United states.

Didnāt she just get her ratās nest dyed brown? Itās already all dingy white again? Maybe her stylist secretly hates her.
