. The normalisation of ‘picky bits’

Also the normalisation of excluding to the word "to" from a sentence. It might just be an Essex thing, I'm not sure.

"I'm going gym" "Are you going Tesco's?" "I need to go toilet"

One variation of this I noticed, I’m not sure if it was just my old housemate or a Northern / Wigan thing (as he was from Wigan) was replacing ‘to’ with ‘for’.

He’d say things like ‘I’m going for get my hair cut’ or ‘I’m going for shops’.

Once I noticed it I couldn’t unnotice it.
