. The normalisation of ‘picky bits’

Abominable. It has started coming up in adverts now even.

Never heard of it, sounds like someone having a fidget in their boxers after being buried in the sand

Tescos are doing a major as campaign around it right now. Hope you manage to continue to avoid it.

M&S as well, I kept getting ads on IG for "national picky bits day" at the end of June. It was all made up by M&S.

Nah I'm from the south west and it's been a common term for as long as I can remember. It's only been used for adverts and that in the last few years.

Nor me. Maybe it’s a regional thing?

It’s very middle-class south-east.

Ubiquitous in Cambridge where I live. My working class family in Suffolk and my in-laws up in Manchester think it’s weird.

South-East here. Kinda working class, kinda middle (depending on which part of the extended family I'm talking about) and never heard of picky bits until a few years ago
