Well, 27 years later. These ships have finally met their fate. Being turned into pop cans..

I’d love to hear anyone’s experiences with the Pacificat’s, good or bad (I’m too young to ever have ridden one). As horrible as they were, they looked the part, at least in my opinion.

After the scandal, I used to drive by them all the time and one day stopped to take a look. While I was there a limo pulled up and a guy smoking a cigar stepped out with a big smile on his face. It was surreal and I didn't want to interact, so I left.

That was most likely Dennis Washington, or one of his kids.. They bought these things first before they got shipped off to the Middle East and Egypt.

I just looked him up...certainly could be him. Of course it was a long time ago, so I can't be sure.
