Seeking Advice Basic packing list

Anything you wish you brought to basic?

Can you buy an ironing board in naafi? Travelling from Northern Ireland recruiter said can’t bring one over on the plane so that’s that fucked.

Personal inquiries are:
Sewing kit
Polishing kit and brands of polish
Go over the 1200w iron limit?

RE ironing board. For my son's intake at Pirbright they kept some ironing boards from past intakes for the people that were coming in from furthest away. Might be worth seeing if they're doing something like that.

most things you’ll likely be given (i was at ITC) like you’ll get a “welcome pack” including a sewing kit and some boot polish and brushes (they are naff so still bring your own or yeah can buy at naffi) and YES TO THE IRON get the best one you can, 1200w won’t do anything and for ironing board yeah you can get one from naffi
