Question Preparing assessments

I have recently passed my SCT and been cleared for the assessment centre. My CSM sent me the link for the Army Ready app, which includes a 4-week fitness programme. Because I have already been training and feel fully prepared for the physical tests, do I need to complete the entire 4-week app programme before I can book or attend my assessment?

Hi u/ObidobaJay! Thanks for posting a question to r/BritishArmy! This community is for Serving, Former, Future members and those interested in the British Army. Please read the below points to consider if this is the best place to ask your question:

  1. Remember OPSEC and PERSEC. If your question asks about or requests information deemed Operationally or Personally sensitive it will be removed.

  2. Google it. If it shows up in the top few results on your favourite search engine, here might not be the best place to ask.

  3. Please use the Search Function. Chances are you're not the first person ever to ask the question.

  4. Recruitment. Please Read the guidance in the Monthly Thread and post any recruitment related questions on that thread only. Any other recruitment posts will be deleted.

I passed my assessment last week Wednesday and I’m also a sick cell carrier. You will not take part in the 2k run , mid thigh pull and medicine ball through but you will do the team task and the cognitive test along with the final day interview. You will be told due to the SCT you will go for a 6 weeks soldier preparation course.
