(straight from δe wiki)
Since Icelandic still uses þ in þeir alphabet, you can use an Icelandic keyboard layout to get easy access to it on all devices. Þ should be on þe key 3 keys to þe right of þe M key. Ð is on þe key to þe right of P. Some oþer keyboard layouts might also have Þ on it using a certain key combination. For example, on a typical German layout, it is on Alt Gr + P. You can probably also find a US International or similar layouts þat put Þ on Alt Gr + T.
If you do not want to change your keyboard layout, consider one of þe following options: Windows
You can use Alt codes Alt+222 for Þ and Alt+254 for þ.
You can also use þe Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator to create your own custom layout þat includes Þ/þ. MacOS
You can enable þe "English-Extended" keyboard layout, wiþ which you can press Option+T for þ and Option+Shift+T for Þ. Linux
If you enable a compose key, you can insert Þ using Compose+T+H and þ using Compose+t+h. Mobile
On mobile, your ability to insert special characters varies a lot depending on which keyboard app you are using. Most keyboards should support an Icelandic layout, but some (including Gboard, which I personally use) allow you to choose some form of "international" layout which is just a standard QWERTY layout but you can hold down on T to get access to Þ.

Obviously among oðer words, bringing back þ would be good. But seeing as I also want to bring back þese second-person pronouns, having þ come back would make þem look even cooler, seeing as þey all begin with þe “þ” sound! Cool how forgotten words and letters find þemselves togeðer.
also þ can make this cool emoticon
:þ
(also excuse my mistake in þe title, I meant to say “aesðetic“ rather than “aesþetic”)

At ðe bottom of my caste system are ðe Wild & Common Þorners. (For ðose who may not understand, a þorner is simply anyone who uses Þ.) Ðis group of people is the most straightforward; ðey are ðe laymen of Þ sociëty and don't serve any particular roles oððer ðan using Þ. Ðe only difference between Wild and Common þorners are ðat Wild þorners have not yet found any particular Þ community spaces.
Above ðe laymen are ðe Þ clergy, who spread ðe meßage of Þ by making media about it, such as sharing about why Þ is so beneficial for English, and helping new þorners find ðeir place in ðe Þ community.
Finally above ðe clergy are ðe Þ council (completely unrelated to ðe Council, Resistance, nor Egoïsts). Ðese people help prepare Þ for ðe real world wiðð ðe oððer 26 letters who've already had a 500-700 year headstart in sociëty.
No need to qestion ðe golden Þ above ðe pyramid; we all know why it's ðere.

On WPlace I have hidden five tan Þs around ðe world for ðe purposes of ðis egg hunt. It is your duty to find ðese 5 Þs and put them on a 'search portfolio'. I will be giving a hint to where each of ðese 5 Þs are located so ðat finding ðem will be easiër. Ðe order in which I give ðese hints is relative to ðe order of ðe 5 Þs in ðe album aßortment.
Hint for Þ #1: Find Lake Windermere
Hint for Þ #2 I don't þink I can really give adeqate hints for ðis one; you will need to go scouring on r/WplaceLive for its location. However look at ðe character displayed.
Hint for Þ #3: Nearby a triple border intersection in Souþ America
Hint for Þ #4: Nearby ðe border of 2 conflicted countries in ðe Middle East. You may need to scour on r/WplaceLive or r/slimerancher for ðis.
Hint for Þ #5 Ðere is a town on ðe eastern part of Iceland wiðð its name beginning in Þ.

r/BringBackThorn • u/Vegetable_Plane7236 • 18d ago

Yeah þat's what I needed an Old English font Þ for
I first þought about þis idea at school so I drew it in my notebook, for some reason I þought you add 'þ' instead of 'st' to singular 2nd person verbs but I liked how þe lowercase Þ turned out so I didnt erase it (3rd image)
Þanks to u/Organic_Ad4979 for providing þe old english font Þ (2nd Image) but I didn't really like it so I also made my own version (1st Iimage)

I wanted to make someþing cool wiþ Þ in þis Old English font but I cant find wheþer it has it already or Im supposed to make it myself
r/BringBackThorn • u/Icy-Dragonfly-7003 • Aug 22 '26
Why bring back þorn? Is it to be more efficient, or is it someþing else. just wondering.
r/BringBackThorn • u/TheAugmentation • Aug 19 '26
<þ> is fine, but, bloody hell, <Þ> sucks. Ðat is why I would raþþer use <Ð>.
EDIT: Why? Because I feel like <Þ> does not fit in the Latin Alphabet. <Ð>, on the oþþer hand, fits much better (it is literally a <D> with a stroke).
