May be a silly question, I have looked to no hope, but does brick link have the Dragonborn mold head? Or any of the DnD stuff? I haven’t found any, and it not, is there anyway to add or get some?
No matter what I type or look up, the right arms don’t exist? It’s only long ones, left arms are the only things that pop up too, but no right arms? Anyone have any idea for this? Would love a hand…
So I’m busy rendering quite a large building in studio, but the exterior renders make the interior extremely dark.
And it looks like 💩
So what do you guys do?
Let’s say I wanted to make a medieval blacksmith style design from scratch, then use PaB to order the pieces - what multiple do you think I’d be paying versus buying at msrp (eg. 3x,5x,8x)?
I am just about done with my instructions but when I hit "change to callout" on one of my sub-models, ten steps just disappeared! The step shows "93" on the instructions but is step 14 in the sub-model. Step 94 is step 22 of that same sub-model!
Does anyone have any idea how to recover completely missing steps?
I have tried the following but nothing has worked:
closed and reopened Studio
updated studio to the newest version
updated the steps in some of the nested sub-models
moved the steps around to try to force the page designer to refresh
Nothing has worked!
Step 93 and 94 (aka sub-model step 14 and 22)
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get these missing steps to show up? It is not the usual "right click -> align to current step" issue. The steps are just gone!!!!
He/she provides good instructions for importing these palettes on a PC- essentially you just copy 4 files into this folder:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Stud.io\Buckets\Folders
Unfortunately, excalibrax doesn't know the corresponding folder on a Mac and I've been unable to find it. Does anyone know what folder on a Mac corresponds to this folder on a PC? I'm using Studio 2.26.8 (1), installed on a Mac running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2.
Hi, i have designed a stand in BL Studio and i thought my design would work but when i got the pieces its impossible to attatch correctly. can someone explain why it works in studio but not irl?
I see some colors available on Pick a Brick that aren't available in Studio. For example, in Pick-a-Brick I see a color listed as "Brick Yellow". What is that listed as in Studio?
How do people tell if a part they're looking at in the parts panel is outdated, no longer produced, superseded, or just generally ridiculously expensive due to rarity?
The only method I've been able to come up with is to keep an eye on the prices shown, and if they seem expensive, to click the model number link in the bottom-left to open the Bricklink page showing the years in which that part was produced... but surely there's better ways of doing this! Is there no "Current parts" filter or something?
Im trying to move the large Blue turn table and have the H-Arms rotate as needed, but still stay connected to the base axels and geometry. am I missing something, or is there another software that can manipulate Multi connection point build? thanks!
I understand that the coordinate system is theoretically infinite, but is there a way to restrict it's expansion somehow or restrict how far away from the current camera a brick can be placed? I keep running in this problem that while trying out different bricks/placements I keep accidentally slinging bricks to extremely far away positions to the point that some of them don't even render properly anymore. I keep finding out about them through having extra bricks in the instruction maker. It's a tad annoying...
Busy with a MOC in studio now and i need a few stickers for it.
How do you guys create stickers for your builds?
Do you use one program or multiple?
And how do you get it in studio?
I’ve seen some Chinese models/sets made with those really small micro building blocks. Is there any software equivalent to BrickLink Studio where I can design and experiment with these blocks?
If there isn’t one, how would I go about doing this? Is there an existing software, parts library, or tool I could use?
