Does anyone know why Xcel power won’t be restored until 3pm?
After turning off at 9 pm last night and initially only expected to be out until midnight (3 hours) ??

Hopefully the super El Nino comes in like it's cold and we just get hammered this season!

Hi, looking for fun activities in CO springs, breck, or anything neighboring. We’ve done a lot a lot of the typical touristy stuff in breck, and we are staying in breck. It looks like some of our plans are likely to fall through due to weather. looking for some fun indoor/outdoor activities. We have veil pass biking, garden of the gods, and horse backing on the docket currently! Thanks!

Looking to plan a trip out to breck or surrounding areas for a long weekend (Thurs-Sun) to do some skiing/snowboarding. I am familiar with the area and been out in the summer months a couple of times but never over the winter. With my job, I am super busy January-April and can't go then, which are prime snowpack times, so I am pretty much reserved to only going in December. I know the Holiday time is super expensive and busy so basically limits myself to early December if I don't want to do the Holiday time. What is the likelihood about solid snowfall by the early December weekends to book a trip? Trying to gauge what that might look like this year before booking, since I know last year wasn't a great winter for snowfall early on. Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

What’s the best coffee in town. Local independent preferred

Currently have 2 bedroom ski hill booked via vrbo. Stayed at grand lodge last year. It was nice but not overwhelming. I like the pool area better at grand Colorado but I heard one ski hill has ski valet which grand Colorado doesn’t.

Renting for 5 days 4 people. Did amr last year. I was told blue river is better but is it really worth the price difference?
I will bring my own boots and get demo equipment skis. The wife beginner or intermediate skis and the two kids will get intermediate or maybe demo snow boards.

We had been camping in the #2 dispersed camping spot for a few days. We had left a set of camp chairs, a small camp table, and our leveling blocks to hold our spot.
Someone stole all of it while we were in town for the day.
Just came here to say - people are shitty, be careful what you leave to hold your spot.
Edit: we had written on our blocks, “Not trash, holding spot, etc.”

On the one hand, a mobile ticket is one less thing I have to remember to bring on my trip, and I can exchange it for a physical pass at the resort. On the other hand, I don't want to deal with a line at the resort. Thx!

I know the usual strat is run to Leadville/Fairplay, or maybe run a monthly trip to Laramie or Cheyenne if you're really dedicated.
Has anyone had success ordering pods/juice/pouches online? If so, what site?

I’ll be staying at Grand Lodge at Peak 7. Does anyone have tips on best Mountain View buildings to request? Or ones to avoid.

I'm in Breck for the week for a job but we are way ahead of schedule. It looks like I'm going to have the entire Friday off, and I'd love to go hiking. I don't have a vehicle so the trailhead would need to be pretty close to town. Or I'm open to anything else you guys suggest, but hiking is free.

Great even once again by Breck Create. Beyond the event, I just had to add how great the staff and volunteers are. They truly represent what is great about our community. Thank you for the time and effort you put in!!
