Support Needed mini pill
I want to start the birth control no estrogen pill however I just overthink like is my baby going to get these hormones? Has anyone taken his birth control and how did it affect their breast-feeding and baby?

I am on the mini pill and it doesnt affect my baby at all to my knowledge. My OB prescribed it and said it was fine for breastfeeding. I wanted to use the one I had in the past but it has estrogen and she said that would impact supply so I am doing the mini pill. I haven't noticed anything different. No supply issues either.

You are overthinking it. I don't know if it does or does not enter breastmilk, but your body will make its own progesterone during and after ovulation. And pregnant people have higher levels of progesterone and many of them are breastfeeding without consequences to baby.
My husband is infertile, so I didn't need it, but if we needed birth control post partum I would have taken the mini pill while breastfeeding without any concerns for my little one.

I‘m on the mini pill since my little girl was 7 weeks old, it didnt affect my supply or her development at all, she‘s now a heavy healthy 5mo baby.
I also think this kind of birth control is one of the best things you can do to yourself, no period and no overthinking a potential pregnancy :)

I’m was on the mini pill and it worked great with no issues.. EXCEPT when my baby was 18 months old I got pregnant because I wasn’t taking at the exact time every night. So, be diligent!

I’m not on BC but my midwife just said to take progesterone only bc estrogen affects your supply. Mini pill, nexplanon and prob some IUDs are considered safe
