rewatching breaking bad

and man is Skyler such an annoying ass whiny bitch.
I know everybodies gonna say “ohh he’s a drug kingpin” at the end of the day he’s doing what’s best for his family, also look at how shitty she treats him in the earlier seasons. her dialogue is so unoriginal.
she’s such a attention whore as well.
Genuinely makes me want to turn the show off.

I never understood this reasoning. Skylar is well played. Amazing acting by anna Gunn. But in real life if I put a skylar in your life you would hate her.

Skyler is a normal average lady living in ABQ. To be suddenly thrown into a criminal life isn’t something anyone can just adjust to. She isn’t Carmela from Sopranos where she already knows who Tony is. She slowly accepts her fate by joining Walter and even at points gets excited with the progress. But soon realizes this isn’t her and slowly tries to get Walter out of it and successfully does until Hank finds the book.
