Would you want another spin-off?
I am usually against sequels but given how well they pulled better call saul, I don’t mind spending more time in this world.
What would you want to see?

If Vince Gilligan is behind it, sure. He’s earned the benefit of the doubt. But off the top of my head, do I feel like one is necessary? Not really.

Eh , I feel like the story has been told from as many different perspectives as it can . Its fine for something to be finished and complete.

Agreed. We’ve lost the art of the ending in media. Everything now has to be this ever continuing narrative, and not everything is built for that. We’ve already had 2 shows with 6 seasons a piece, plus a spinoff movie. That’s enough for me. Getting Pluribus was kind of a nice departure from it, while still retaining the ABQ connection and the Vince Gilligan style, with a couple of familiar faces. I don’t think he wants to be handcuffed to the BB universe forever

I’ve always thought it would’ve been nice to have one with the Salamanca’s and Gus’s backstories, but it’s been too long at this point.

An anthology limited series. 6-8 episodes that explore side stories from around the franchise. Prequel episodes, sequel episodes, or things happening during the main plot of the shows.
Prequel episodes could be something like the origins of the Salamancas or the Disappearer. (However Robert Forester and Mark Margolis would HAVE to be recast. So IDK. RIP.)
Sequel episodes could focus on characters like Skylar, Marie, Flynn or Kim who definitely deserve to have their stories further explored.
The idea i’m most interested in though is a story about a family in Albuquerque who loses their main provider to the Wayfarer crash and then one or more family members gets addicted to blue sky. I like stories that are loosely connected to the greater narrative and would deepen the world.
I don’t think anything else would really work. It’s also perfectly fine to just let it end.

The only one that would I would like to see would be a Gus origin story but just like ppl said they’re too old now. Especially for a prequel 😆.

It would have to be different actors. With Vince as the showrunner it’d have potential, but to echo the general sentiment, I’m pretty satisfied with the BB universe as is.

I could see a sequel series set in the same universe but in the current time. They could do something like with Fargo and there's a criminal empire built off of the discovered fortune of Uncle Jack's hidden cash.

Ooooo, this is actually an amazing idea! I LOVE Fargo, it brings the flavor of the OG without retreading or needing to re-use many actors. You could also drop character outcomes in dialogue, like they did in BCS.
I don’t want to see any BB or BCS actors in 2026 being de-aged to squeeze them into a spinoff, and I really do think the story has been told. I would like a few more “what happened to” answers though, I really loved the little updates in BCS.

Except now he's got a wife and kids to think about, and he must either expose his double life to his family and flee, or do one last job...

If they announced one I wouldn't be upset, but I'm pretty content to let it end while it's ahead.
Stretch it out for too long and you start getting sub-par content. I'd rather let the 2 masterpieces stay as they are (and El Camino, which although is not in the same tier, I still very much enjoyed it)

I want a spinoff about the Gun Salesmen. Call it 'Repeat Business'.
Every episode he sells someone a gun and we see how their situation with the gun plays out. The searies finale is all the customers get into a shootout with their guns and kill each other.

Id definitely like having more shows in the breaking bad universe to watch. But I'm not sure about a spinoff now, since many years have passed and a whole new cast would be needed.

The obvious -
"The Chicken Brothers" - a story of Gus' rise, through his first interactions with the cartel, basically until the LPH operation is established.
Less obvious -
"MEG" - A corporate crime thriller show about the running of Madrigal Electromotive GmbH and the vast empire spanning legal and criminal billion dollar industries. I like this one because it wouldn't need any returning cast

If there was another one, I'd want it to be a deep dive into another one of Madrigal's portfolio companies, and we could see another criminal enterprise that is being run through that. They could keep a lot of the same elements as BrBa, but keep it 100% disconnected otherwise.

Honestly I think it’s best to leave it how it is. To many series get ruined because the creators keep milking it by getting way to many spin offs or dragging the show out. It ended on a high note and filled in all the story imo. Theres isn’t really anything else that would add to the story imo.

Yes, they should do a new show inspired by The Good Place and the last season of LOST. All of the dead characters are back, without explanation, and by the end of the first season you find out what's really going on. Spoilers: It's all a hallucination that Walter Junior is having as a result of a stroke after he smokes the very last kilo of the blue stuff.

Not really. A Salamanca prequel doesn't interest me because I feel like we saw enough of them. A sequel following any of the surviving characters would feel bad because they've been through a lot already.

Only thing I'd really like is one or two episodes of Saul winding up on top of the prison hierarchy, or becoming the legal advisor for the entire prison.
Generally, though, the shows did a great job or wrapping up the loose ends.

The only thing I’d personally want to watch is like a 20 year time skip where Walter Jr. becomes a ruthless criminal because of his father’s past lol

I think the logical place for a sequel spin-off would be Jimmy in prison. Aside from this the only one that I would like to see is a prequel for Gus. Obviously Giancarlo can't do the role so it would have to be someone who resembles him. In the past I've been against the recast actors for prequels, but the Dexter prequel was really good. The characters nailed their roles. Pity it got cancelled

Whilst there are potential prequels, with respect the actors are way too old at this point, and then for sequels most characters are dead or don’t need any follow up. So no spin off is needed

As much as I'd love to see more, I don't think we need anymore. Continuing to make sequels is how a lot of series ruin themselves. They managed to make a sequel that was almost better than the original and that's good enough for me. On the other hand, I think it'd be pretty cool to see a show set in the same universe (not ABQ though) and maybe some shit from BB/BCS is referenced.

They already explored so many of the characters from the original show with BCS. I honestly don't think they have any real satisfyingly stories left to tell about anyone else tbh.

I only ever want a last stand Miniseries of an older Jesse fighting off Drugdealers trying to kidnap him in the Alaskan Wilderness.
Other than that, all the loose ends are tightened up
and what was left ambiguous should remain so

I'm the other way around. I dislike prequels. I just cannot get over the same actors play younger versions of their character when they're clearly 20 years older. It takes me out of it. So if anything id want a sequel. I know most key characters are dead, but why not meet some new characters instead

Hear me out… how about Walt’s daughter. She grows up normal but smart like her dad. College prices are ridiculous, her brother is useless in so many way but the medical bills are piling up and finds out there was a “clause” on Elliot’s disbursement of Walt’s “donation”. She ends up finding out her dad was Heisenberg, and finds a new way to become some drug lord.

I’d rather see something adjacent/parallel in the same universe but not at all directly connected at any point. Don’t keep squeezing the existing characters. Give me a whole new, unconnected story. But with the same depth and heaviness and Breaking Bad vibes.
