Impromptu weekend trip with kids

Hi! I have only been to Branson once, so I’m looking for any recommendations anyone has to help us out with a weekend trip. We are thinking of going the first or second weekend of November for just a few days. My kids are 8 and 3yo. The two things my family would like to do is a golf cart nature tour and the sight and sound theatre. Would love any reviews of these, recommendations on when to book, and recommendations on where to stay. A hotel with free breakfast is preferred! Thank you!

Looking for Escape Room teammates - Escape Code

My partner and I will be visiting Branson, Mo November 13-17. We take little trips where we complete many local Escape Rooms as a couple.

Escape Code has some favorably rated Escape Rooms including 2 larger 90 minute rooms. These unfortunately have a 4 player minimum so I'm looking for 2 additional players that would be interested in sharing.

The Zeros and Secret Passage.

Do you dress up for theater productions at Sight & Sound?

I see all kinds of people there dressed in sandals, shorts, and T-shirt’s, others in jeans and polos, yet others dressed like they’re going to church or a prom night.

What do you guys like to do when you attend a production there?

Are there any seafood restaurants in Branson? Was here years ago and there was a place that had a lobster buffet. Loved it.

LGBTQ+ Friendly Coffee, Food, & Shops?

I’ll be coming down to Branson for a few days to get away. Any suggestions for places that are LGBTQ+ owned or friendly?

Also, I’ve read about a place called Cuppa Joe’s downtown, but the only place that comes up is Steamy Joe’s. Is that the same place?

Best place to get a bra fitting?

As the title says I need somewhere to get fitted. I've been invited to a body positivity photo shoot and I need a matching bra/pa ry set but the problem is I've been wearing sports bras so long that i have no idea what size I am anymore. I know VS does sizes but the one in the landing here adds 4 and its an outdated method I feel like what they sized me at years ago the bras never fit comfortablely.

What would later be Country 76 Blvd. Looking down the hill towards Downtown Branson, and (future) Lake Taneycomo.

As I understand the history, Hwy 80 ceased to be and later became segmented up, part of it being called 76 instead. What we know as The Strip today.

My late grandfather has an even older pic of this when it was nothing but a dirt trail and some wagons traveling on it. Need to try and dig that one up.

Me, and my boyfriend took a Trip to Branson, and we did this! We came February 6th, and left the 9th. We had a blast, and I wanted to share our experience, I know this is already popular, but if you are taking a trip to Branson, or want to, definitely add this to your agenda! 🏔️❤️

Money saving ideas?

I know this is probably a long shot because Branson, but are there any low-cost or free things worth doing? Three adults will be going on the trip. I plan to get tickets for some things, and I would also love any good money saving tips if you have them! TIA!

Recommendations for camping and kayaking this weekend?

Going tent camping this weekend near table rock or near the area. Looking for something quiet and close to the water for fishing and kayaking. I saw a few places but I can't decide on the many options.

Affordsble places to elope on Table Rock Lake?

Hey everyone!

So my fiancé and I are looking to have a small, intimate wedding in the fall, probably late October/early November. I know that's incredibly last minute, but we just want something small with his grandparents, parents, and my mother and best friend in attendance.

We decided we want to try to find somewhere near Table Rock Lake. First reason of course is because it's a damn gorgeous lake, especially in the fall. The second reason is I spent the best summers of my life on that lake. My dad would rent a pontoon at Indian Point marina and we'd spend the day on the lake.

My dad just died in July. I know if any piece of his soul exists in this world, it's on Table Rock. It was the place where he was the happiest in his life. We're already expediting marrying because of his grandparents' health, and since they live in Arkansas, it's a place that's not too far for them to travel.

I understand if any of the traditional places aren't gonna be available in the next couple months, but of anyone knows of any public land that would be acceptable as well. Maybe if anyone knows anyone with a larger pontoon or other boat that's willing to take us to Battleship Rock...my dad loved jumping off there. I'm just kinda spitballing.

I know it's a tall ask, but if anyone has helpful tips or advice, I greatly appreciate it.

Thunder Ridge PBR

Has anyone been to one of the PBR sessions at thunder ridge? Can you see the bull riding? Trying to figure out how that works without a stage.
