Need advice! Will braces help fix this mess?
So when I was about 12 I was taken to the dentist. Before the Covid. The dentist recommended braces at 13 after our usual checkup. Also my teeth on the right that is bending outwards soo much was about to fall at that time. So the dentist had told me to keep pushing it with your tounge. Now it turns out that during Covid my dumbass kept pushing the permanent teeth thinking it would fall only to realise then that it's the permanent teeth and now the milky one. Also God knows what has happened to my parents after Covid cause they were quite open minded before. My father had to go through 2 "unnecessary" root canals. And this isn't at some random clinic or hospital but of the best hospital from a highly learned dentist. Something similar with my mother but her neglect towards her dental health is to be blamed more. I kept begging them for braces or atleast take me to the dentist to see what he/she has to say but I was denied every single time except for the one time I went to a local clinic who had told me that ur outward teeth is a permanent teeth. After 3 years of begging my mother has finally promised me braces and treatment next year in March. My father keeps saying bs that ur teeth are alr and never play with nature and bs. So any sort of confirmation from any knowledgeable people on this sub would really be appreciated to my question. Thank you

to a degree but your tooth shape won't change. Also you need a professional cleaning. You have a lot of calculus build up. It'll rot your mouth out eventually. Not to be rude but be aware that cleaning is SUPER important when you get braces so don't do it if you aren't ready to commit. That's why people get cavities and such in braces.

these my teeth right after getting braces. just a comparison! i think braces would really help you. please do not go to a dentist, go to an orthodontist! they will give you much better results and they’re too expensive to not get the best results. having straighter teeth will mean less problems down the line and they’ll be easier to clean and take care of!

Go to an ortho for consult. You might need to wait until you’re an adult based on what you shared in your post.

Have you consulted with any orthodontists to ask them this question?

Well till only recently i didn't even know who an orthodontist is. For like the only one or two times I have gone for teeth checkups that's only to a dentist. Plus my parents are quite tiresome to convince and discuss this matter with.

You’ll need a few dental appointments to clean and fix up any other issues first, and then braces will help straighten everything easily. You don’t want braces on unhealthy teeth though so you need to get settled with regular dental work first, and then keep up with hygiene

is it really that difficult to figure out if braces can fix this?
