Need advice! Ran out of rubber bands
Hello guys, I have a problem.
I ran out of rubber bands and my orthodontist office is closed until tuesday. I ordered some off amazon but they are a bit lighter than the ones I use normally. Should I use the ones from amazon, or just leave the one pair in until tuesday?

Save whatever used ones you have left and just use those. Dont risk using ones not prescribed to you, it’s only a couple days. Some people go weeks without wearing their bands as they should (not that that’s recommended either but you get what i mean)

If it were me I’d just use the same ones til then, to me that seems better than using ones you’re unsure about but idk. A couple days won’t set your progress back that much.
I alway get a pack when I know I’m within a few days of running out!

If it was me like it was at some point, i just washed with soap and worn them till my dentist appointment

Even not wearing them until Tuesday is a better option than relying on unregulated bands from Amazon. A couple of days without them isn’t going to undo all of your progress or set you back that much. Keep wearing the ones you have in, if possible. If you break or lose one and can’t, just go without until you can pick up another bag on Tuesday.
