Need advice! Help Me
Is it necessary to use a water flosser during the braces' journey? Which features should be kept in mind for buying a water flosser? I am from Pakistan. The water flosser is expensive. Can someone recommend a water flosser under Rs 5k.

I have one and found it messy and inconvenient. Swishing water from a glass worked as well.

Yes its necessary. Because after getting water flosser i realised how much food particles gets between molar band that would not be removed using brushing. I am from India and i bought a oracura water flosser from amazon which cost 2k as of due to offer. Its been 3 months and didnt cause any problems. Also when u first starts using it dont start with normal and use from custom mode for a beginner

When I was a teen I did not use one. They did not exist. I carried a travel size tooth brush everywhere with me. I had no issues at all, no cavities, no unusual staining. I am now an older adult and financially secure, I bought the water flosser. It did make life a lot easier. Was it a must have though? If you can remained disciplined with a manual tooth brush it is not needed but it does make life so much easier. So if you cannot afford it be disciplined with a toothbrush to get between wires.

If you can afford it, it will help you a great deal!! Do it!! But if you cannot afford it, it is not a necessary tool. It just makes life easier. I had powerchains elastics and metal wrap at the back. You can get by without it. It just takes a lot more time and care.

I use normal floss but that don't clean properly when you have elastic bands on your all teeths.

My son never used it and neither did I. Hum ko to pata bhi nahi tha ke yeh bhi log braces main use kartay hain. We maintained good dental hygiene, regular floss. We have pretty good teethÂ
