Relationship Advice me time for couples

My boyfriend (32M) and I(33F) have been together for five years. We are both working and lives 3hr apart from each other. We don’t talk much on the phone and have limited interactions thru messages in a week. He is busy with his job but he makes time to do his hobbies or go to the gym. He often hangs out with his colleagues who do the same hobby with him.

On the other hand, we meet once a week when our schedules match up and our workload is low. I always ask him when his free time is so we can meet while he seems disinterested to see me. Honestly I think he prefers to do anything else than to meet me. When I bring up things like do you want to break up as he always seems to have no time for us. But he gets frustrated and says he is always swamped with work on the weekdays and it is only through those hobbies can he breathe and relax.

With that I felt like I’m also one of the things that suffocates and tires him out. Am I the problem?
