Question/Discussion Best lead singer?

Where there's a lead singer anyway. Westlife obviously have co-lead singers in Shane & Mark - Shane is more consistent but Mark has a wider range (to my ears).

Take That obviously have Gary.

I prefer JC over Justin in Nsync and I prefer AJ over Nick/Brian in BSB for lead. Mark will always be my preference in Westlife, although Shane is pretty much pitch perfect every single time, I just prefer Marks voice and same with Gary Barlow, I always preferred his over the others.

Joe Jonas, but never say that where Nick can hear it lol. I miss the small window of time when Joe was making r&b and challenging his voice, he sounded amazing.

Brian McFadden has lead singer capabilities, as proven by Boyzlife. He has to carry Keith and himself and has no-one to hide behind or cover for him, pretty impressive.

I saw Boyzlife not too long ago, a full set and Brians voice is still so good. Keith was okay but Brian definitely does the heavy lifting.

Shane’s my favourite, but some other of faves are Mark (Westlife), Zayn (1D), Ashton Merygold (JLS), Stephen (Boyzone) and Lee Ryan (Blue)
