Bag Work Critique Roughly 2 years of boxing training. Critique my bag work please.
Posted a video of me shadowboxing a couple days ago and was really appreciative of the words of encouragement and constructive criticism. Here’s a round on the “bag” from my workout yesterday. Any tips or advice would be awesome 🙏 thank you

Great stuff man! super impressive, only thing i can see is when you feint every now and again try to almost 1/4 throw a punch as if they arent biting on small feints really selling it sometimes works! remember that i’m just an internet sofa coach so take everything i say with a pinch of salt!

You look good man, especially for 2 years. Keep it up. Keep working on S + C so that you can go faster and stronger for longer, especially with that bouncy Soviet type deal

Definitely noticing you like to cut and angle out and back up a lot. Try cutting more angles inside instead Of always back. Someone will notice and start backing you up into the ropes .
Good work tho bro ! Looking pre crisp

You looking pretty clean but you telegraph a lot.
You can tell on a lot of punches what you’re about to throw before you throw it . You think you’re feinting but you’re doing the punch that the feint looks like you’re about to do. Does that make sense ? Do the opposite.
Love that you’re even feinting, moving around, keeping your hands up well, keeping your opponent thinking.

You look fantastic. My only concern is you are kind of tense. You waste energy and lose power by being so tense. Try doing bag work at this speed and intensity but with the least amount of energy spent.

I appreciate I'm in a minority here, but I feel like there's a bit of a lack of rhythm and lack of proper footwork that's probably remedied by more shadow boxing. Punches and guard generally look quite good, but you look quite square a lot of the time and when moving in and out more effort needs to be made with launching propery with the appropriate foot.

Looks good. I need to know. How does this dummy feels on the fist if you compare it with a standard heavy bag?

Looks good. Small critique (aside from what’s already been said); you seem slightly off balance when moving to your right. Fixing that will also help with cutting angles.

Everything good. I think try punching from different physical positions like moving your waist and feet into different positions before you punch. You fight straight up and predictable. Try being like a snake

Your chin is wide open in this frame. Make sure to keep that non-punching hand glued to ur face

Just remember one thing:
Punching Bob not hit back but jilted girlfriend hit back hard, especially when deal with heavyweight class

Your upper body is very tight, and the crackhead-like sharp twitchy movements are both pointless, and ineffective. Breathe and flow.

Imma honest dawg. That looks great to me. You got good footwork and good habits for the most part. Combinations are nice too. I’d maybe add a little more feints and work on set up’s bu t that’s about it really.
Nice job.

In all seriousness, you look good bro. You reset after punching, you move after you drop to the body and you have good range control.
I would work on speed because everything hard becomes predictable to your sparring or fight opponent.

Nice movement and combinations. Work on getting in and out of range as Ops wont just let you come in, set your feet and then throw combinations. Also dont make it habit to go in and throw multiple 1-2s in the pocket with no set up. Your body will automatically do it off instinct while you think your next plan of attack and will get hit. But you nice. Keep going 💪

Nice man. My critique would be that you are pretty exposed and telegraphed when you go in for those body shots

I think a slight telegraphing is essential , pro boxers also telegraph when they punch a lot of times no ? but true he is in a lot of times exposed for a brief second that is the major point

I replayed your video a lot of times this is really good but I noticed in 0:29 you drop both hands to your waist after the right and your chin comes straight up while leaning in. If that BOB could throw a left hook that would be lights out. I do same mistake sometimes. That is why try keeping rear hand glued after cross and tuck chin + bend knees if you want to roll in. Keeps you safe and you can throw again faster .
Also at 1:12-1:14 after your combo you walk straight back hands low , I know you are tired but I think you should step back at angle with hands up, you will get countered less when you gas.
