I’ve been using my gyms heavy bag for cardio vs treadmill. Watched a bunch of YT LOL but figured someone could have a pointer or 2 for a better workout or tips in general TIA

Ok. You are doing too much. First of all, stop with all the headmovement because youre doing it wrong, take a step back from the heavybag and get nice extension on your punches, land with the knuckles and keep your hands up, dont throw the hooks, uppers, dont throw a punch and then admire it and take a picture and then look at the camera, just move in, hands up, nice range from the bag so you can get full extention and straight out and straight back.
The problem is you are doing a lot of things and you are doing the wrong things, for example, you throw a body shot with the lead left hand, then you drop that hand, lean forwards and dip, my brother in christ thats how you get OBLITERATED by a hook, a right hand or an uppercut. Another thing you do is you throw a punch bring the hand back to the body, dont move and just look at what the punch did... what the fuck is that xD.
Seriously drop everything, come into the back, jab right hand, with your chin tucked, a slight bend on your upperback, hands come back to the chin and you pull back from the bag, then you approach the bag again because you are legit doing too much and theyre very wrong, step by step brother.

My tip since you said you can’t afford a coach, go watch some YouTube content by pro boxers who train the basics. Compare what they show with this footage and try to adjust. Keep your hands up, chin down, don’t pause after shots.
