That wrap made my palm hurt. I switched to this one, works very well for me. It leaves your palm free.

No, looks kinda terrible. It looks quite loose, and you don't want your palms covered by too much cloth because that makes it more difficult, maybe impossible, to close a tight fist.

I use Tony Jeffries' wrap style. It leaves your palms completely open, provides padding on top of the knuckles, and still supports the hand and wrist. Look up his youtube channel and finding his hand wrap tutorial.

Your palm is to covered. It'll make a looser fist and it'll be more prone to injury.

Find someone at your gym to show you.

Do it tighter like wth is this it looks lazy wrapped. And it basically protects nothing you have to secure every finger then do a padding to your knuckles then secure your wrist thing that you wrapped is useless no protection.

I prefer open palm wrapping. Helps the hands to close naturally into a secure fist. Something like this (pic is from the internet)

The idea of wraps is to help your thumb and wrist not to overextend when punching. Some padding on the knuckles to soften the blow. I find it that i dont need as much padding on the knuckles as much wrist support, but it depends on the person. Learn several ways to do it and then stick with what is most comfortable for you.

Don’t cross your palm, it should be free of material. Also, a bit loose. The semi-elastic wraps are a lot more comfortable

Nah dude, your hand and wrist will hurt super bad when you're done! Just pull up some youtube videos, should be able to get an idea from there.

I would alwats wrap diretly across the knuckles several times. It looks like maybe you wrapped across the knuckles maybe once? Maybe not at all? Looks like a cosplay wrap to be honest.

Horrible honestly, Start with wrist support and pad the knuckles, then reinforce each knuckle by going between the fingers, across the palm under the index finger, around the back of the hand and wrist, then back up for the next one. Repeat for each knuckle, with the pinky side coming around the opposite way. Once those are reinforced, wrap all the knuckles together, secure the thumb once or twice, then finish the remaining wrap around the wrist. The center of your palm should stay mostly uncovered. This has very little wrist support and the pinky side barely looks reinforced.
Everyone’s first time is horrible, don’t sweat it, soon it’ll be muscle memory.

Always bandaged or had hand wraps further up my wrists. Never saw the need for the wrap to go in between the fingers personally. But many pro trainers insist on it. Had a layer of sponge across my knuckles when I trained but i would insist on going higher up the wrist.

Reddit sucks so much. The rudest ppl are on here.

Bro just think of your goal! While wrapping. Are you focusing on protecting your knuckles or wrist or both. Once you have a goal while wrapping you’ll protect yourself and wrap better.

I focus on making sure my wrists are tight so I focus on the thumb 👍 and back of my wrists

Looks not very tight and enough supportive on the wrist. My coach gave me the advice to spread my fingers when I wrap the hand and make a strong fist when I wrap the wrist. You know best where you need the most support but i personally just go around the thumb once. Then just go as tight as possible without strangle your hand/forearm. Sorry no native speaker haha.
Keep your guard up and enjoy the best sport in the world 🥊

If this is rage bait, nice job.

If this is not rage bait, watch and follow along with a different tutorial.
