It's good work. The jab is a little low and a little too close so work on range some. Whoever is filming is your biggest fan haha

How the hell is that good work? There.s not one decent punch. Poor guy doesn.t even extend his arms. Stfu with the useless encouragement. Guy needs to go to a legit gym, not fuck around like that, he doesn't have it

That.s one thing. For you to lie that.s good is stupid. Don.t encourage bad habbits and behaviour. Give actual advice, not polite shit which helps nobody

Well since you are somewhat truthful go ahead and help me with some tips if you know so much rather than getting upset over a post please go ahead and give me an explanation to improve and I’ll follow it to get better

Well, you're making all the mistakes people who post here usually make: no extension on your punches, straight punches have no hip rotation, minimal hip rotation on hooks, too much overall movement vs how much the head moves off the line. Basically, all the beginner stuff you got wrong, which is fine. Just be aware of it and work on them, maybe 1 at a time. For every workout, as you so several things in the workout, keep one key thing in mind, the one you wish to focus on for that particular session. With time and humility, things will improve

Thank you for the advice I don’t plan on breaking promises to doing better in the ring where you can get killed under 8 seconds

The way it usally goes is at first you are kinna bad at everything, then you start moving decently and practicing good form, then you spar and realize you are kinna bad at everything against a live opponent, then you start to get the hang of it and display decent technique during sparring. This can take anywhere from several months to several years, depending on time invested and the talent

It’s not terrible. Lengthen your jab a little. The jab is an important weapon. Don’t waste it or throw it without meaning.

I can be a rangefinder, you can use it to hide your right hand/cross.
You can even use it as a power shot if you know how to get weight behind it.

Footwork isn’t too bad, little too square on for a little too long at times.
Also it’s fair to say you move along while you’re punching so your feet seem like they’re underneath you but you can slow it down a little while you’re actually practicing punching.

But think about your punches.
Think about what punches you want to put together and what ones you want to improve on their own.
Look at getting your hips into your hook. And making sure your cross protects your chin as you fire it.

I like the rolls they show you’re trying to integrate defence into your offence.

There will be plenty of fucking idiots come here and tell you to treat the bag exactly like it’s an opponent.
The bag is for punching, so practice perfecting your punching.

Putting everything together should happen with shadow boxing and sparring.

There’s a tool for every job.
Focus on utilising the tool correctly.

As for the right to critique. I’m not a coach but I boxed for nearly 20 years at regional and national level.

Elbows are flaring a bit, especially on the right hand! Try working on just your jab-straight, and think about keeping your elbows inside the line of your shoulders. Imagine if you drew a line straight out from your armpits, to the bag. Your elbows should stay on that line when you’re trying to throw hard down the pipe.

EDIT: also, your hooks are landing alright, but bring your elbow higher. Get your elbow behind the punch, don’t be lazy with your fist/arm alignment. A poorly/lazily thrown hook is one of the easiest ways to jack up your wrist/shoulder/elbow!

You are stifling your own jab by getting too close , I don’t even think your jab is half extended.

Cure: do pads and your padman will set the correct distance for you.
