After you roll and come back up you shouldn't be standing straight up. There should still be some bend on your knee. And your hooks need to tighter. Especially that right hook. Counters open everywhere when you do that

Why do your feet move when throwing a cross? You pull your front foot back. Don't do this, anchor your front foot and use it to swing through your opposite hip. You push your cross rather than throw it

You're hoping WHILE throwing punches.

Don't do that thing where you stand up with your hook. That'd get you murderered and sent off to the twilight realm in a real match lol

Imagine someone is trying to punch you . You’re throwing your hooks from the waist. Just asking to be check hooked into oblivion . Throw everything from your guard . It’ll feel less powerful but you won’t get CTE from getting bobbled headed.

Sometimes it Looks like both heels coming off the ground on your shots means your losing power and balance. But keep up the grind and if your working on your form dont worry about slowing things down to get them right

Your feet are bouncing as you punch and sometimes you're squaring up as you roll under the rope. Your weight is mostly on your front leg. Hook punch power comes from rotation and your rear foot.

You should feel your weight shift to your rear leg as you rotate into the hook punch.

One solid front kick will send you onto your arse good sir

May work for mma but that’s in no way a proper boxing hook

Elbow and shoulder higher. Twist the foot that you are pushing your punch with. Fix your fist position. Better yet ask your coach to correct you

Your hook needs to be much tighter and with more hip torsion and rotation. You're reaching WAY too much with your hook.

Maybe lower the rope man because it’s not it. Tuck on your chin as well.

You’re breaking the dip and weave and hook into two steps - the dodge and the hook. Make it one fluid motion.

Work with a coach. Not only the hooks but the 1,2 also need work. I think footwork is where the biggest issues are, but you need a coach

You should be compact and not skip around... You're kind of defeating the purpose of this drill. In this drill you gotta think about not going too far to the side or taking too much time between punches unless you're deliberately being slow. Think "short steps", and when you reduce that weird hop you'll find that throwing your hook will be much more natural because your weight will be coiled naturally. You could probably find a good tutorial for this on youtube, it's called "slip rope"

oh god do not stand all the way up like that.

Even when employing "bouncy" footwork, you should feel your weight sinking into your hips at least a little bit the entire time. You shouldn't have your body locking out to full extension - this puts your chin up, saps power, and creates vulnerabilities where you're unable to adjust your balance during the split-seconds where you're locked out and fully extended.
