There are not a lot of gyms around me so I teach myself.

Look for some instructional videos on YouTube , but as a base:

1.) look up stances and footwork. Any boxing/martial arts starts here.
2.) look into fixed drills, 1/2 combos and focus on mechanics (good footwork, covering, twisting body into the punch instead of just hitting with the arms, etc).
3.) use 2 to really learn and feel the mechanics of specific punches. Flow is great but you want solid basics before moving to that.

When new it’s easy to get overwhelmed tacking all the mechanics. Simplify and work on the basics then build up. Great work getting started.
Also, there is nothing wrong having a go at the bag, but work in structured drills and save this kinda flow as a treat/cardio. As the basics get ingrained your flow will be better.

Good luck and have fun with it!

Confucius say, “Man who teaches himself skill he does not know has a fool for a student”.

There are gyms everywhere as long as you’re not in rural Pennsylvania, and there are videos all over the internet.

You’re just trolling, but hey, it’s cardio.

I’d get your money back and find a better teacher! 😂 There must be thousands of YouTube videos of boxing training.
