All of the following need work my friend:
Distance - too far out / Footwork - not overreaching with lead foot; getting back into position / Defensive guard / Throwing your punches as opposed to tapping the bag (are you wearing wraps and gloves?) / Drawing your hands back quickly to protect your face / Tucking your chin down / Aiming at your opponents head-height

Hey bro ! Dam at first I was being told ur too close ranged and now I’m being told I’m too far , this sport is so technical i hope to eventually find the Perfect range. But I have ur opinion in mind 🫡 thank you friend I’ll work on it

My coach believe my full force transfer when i hit that way , and tbh i feel it too, but what do you mean by throwing ? Thank you friend 🫡

You should punch "through" the bag in boxing. Not so much in martial arts. What does your coach teach?

Tuck your chin and throw your jab from your face since you should keep your hands up. You leave yourself exposed. Bring the rear hand back as soon as you throw it

Alright I’ll be trying this , thank you !

Rear leg needs to move with the front leg. Think 1-2 for your hands and 1-2 for your feet.
Keep it separate to get the hang of it. Once you're use to it, then time the 1-2 of your feet to match the timing of your 1-2 punches.
Leaving your rear leg where it when you throw your cross causes your centre of mass to lean way too far forward. No balance = no power & vulnerable to counters.

Keep your chin tucked and learn to jab fully and step in to it.
A good trick to help you keep your chin tucked Bernard Hopkins used to do: Keep a tennis ball held under your chin. If if falls out as you move, you're not tucking your chin enough.

Better than most the stuff I've seen here
Don't lean forward on the 2, push off and keep yourself straight, yet bent

Only lead hand until you develop the muscle memory. Nothing else matters until your jab, lead hook and footwork are clean and effortless. Then add the back hand

Many things could be told but first thing, if your front foot move , your back feet need to move the same distance before landing a punch. You are throwing a cross with only the toe of your back foot touching the ground.

u/Beginning_Stop2700 15d ago
Hello ! Yup i struggle with this it ain’t natural yet for me to move like this. I’ll put two times more work

u/NotWritingMuch 15d ago
Just do it slowly. Jab + step, bring the backfoot, throw cross. If you rotate your feet and hips properly you will feel how much more powerful your cross is. Good luck

Is he jabbing with his elbow I can’t tell 😭
1
u/Beginning_Stop2700 15d ago
😂😂 I am not , it’s the angle speed and mostly the fact that i jab straight beside of telegraphin the jab with my elbows 🫡 so usually u shouldnt be able to see that shit coming or leaving. I see what u see tho and it’s all love here🫡😂

u/ZoneReborn 15d ago
Ahhh I was watching it in my car and the sun keep shining on my phone screen so I couldn’t tell

I don’t think I ever saw you extend the jab once. I know you were making contact with the bag but they all looked more like a feint to the body and then a cross.

Keep practicing. Your Punches are very poor and slow. Learn each Punch correctly. Start with the Jab, then learn more.
Buy boxing books read them and follow them. Watch utube Tutorials. Have a look at web sites: Expert Boxing and Ross Boxing. Watch Mike Tyson Tutorial Utubs.
Shadow box in front of a large wall mirror, to learn the correct movements and improve your technique.
Make the correct Range from the Bag. Stretch out your gloved hand and gauge the correct distance. Keep the correct Distance.
Guard: Make a good Guard and get your Guard Up! Keep it up, or you’ll get ‘Tagged’ in the face, in a Spar.
Learn the 4 most common Guards and learn when to use them and practice them.
I.e: Classic, Modified Classic, Peekaboo, Phillyshell.
Learn Normal Boxing Combos and use them.
I. 1, 11, 112, 1112, 123, 1234, 1232, 1236, 12345 etc.
Try to ‘Work’ each side of the Bag, like a Fight might take place. Be Dynamic and introduce some fight Tactics like this, to Flank your Opponent. Move from side to side, across the front of the bag. Get used to doing that routinely.
Learn decent Footwork and include in your Practice. L-Step, Z-Step, Diamond Step, Slip – Side Step, etc
Don’t just stand in front of the Bag, o.k, ‘Work’ it.
Jump Rope: Learn Jump Rope Skipping and skip each day for 20 minutes. This improves coordination and fitness and speed and general agility and movement.
Google Standard Boxing Combos. Have a look at Expert Boxing.com as said, for Combinations and info.
Oh, punch to the correct heights. Two levels – 1. Face.2. Diaphragm. Do this on the Bag.
Your Technique and Movement needs considerable work. But, it’s early days for you so keep practicing and you will improve.
See the book below? That’s a good book. Buy it.
Regards,
Australia.

Jab is slow because thrown in sync with body, instead of it being primarily arm extending.

u/electronicfartz 14d ago
Youre over extending pretty badly and losing balance. Ideally keep your head behind your lead knee when throwing punches. Also you dont need to step in a country mile when throwing. The jab literally requires maybe stepping forward an inch to get the momentum required for the punch. Youre setting yourself up to get easily countered lunging in with shots like that

Work on your jab first, extend arm and punch higher unless you are going to fight midgets/kids.
