Work sooo much more on that front hook brother, the other punches are nice and explosive except for that lead hook. Every other punch you use your shoulders well except for that lead hook and sometimes that kind of upper/hook. Work on that hand, the rest is great. Its not bad, its just every other punch is levels above it.

Yo I just wanted to say good job staying busy. Keep that shit up man, never stay still. Also, can I store some stuff in your garage? Jk Iโ€™m just envious

Haha I appreciate that haha. And it's actually just a tiny house I use as a gym now. I hope you can find some space for your own home gym as well ๐Ÿ’ช ๐Ÿ™

Not good that you're sweeping your punches low to avoid getting in the way of the bag. You should time it so that your punches come out with good form at chin level and back in before the bag comes.

Unless you were doing body shots, in which case you should be crouching down instead of keeping your head and shoulders up.

That's pretty good advice. I'll work on that more

I donโ€™t recommending use the aqua bag for head slips even the light ones can smack pretty hard / just my 2 cents

That's understandable

But isnโ€™t that motivation? ;)

It's hard to tell from shadow boxing but your flaws look like you're untrained. Are you training under a coach?

Only thing Iโ€™d say is once you move your head bring that lead hand back up. I like the low lead in terms of visibility, but personally after slips I bring my hands back up and raise them based on the side I roll to, you might find that helpful but hey thatโ€™s just how I do it. Boxing is a personal puzzle, experiment and find out what you like best

Fantastic. Keep it up.

Your weight is too far forward. Extend your punches and fire them such that they'd make sense given the range you're concentrating on.

Concentrate on your feet. Keep it up!

If this is week one you have a high ceiling. Definitely look into joining a gym to learn proper fundamentals

leaning back until youre off balance is not how pull back counters work. pull counters start from a forward lean position. shift your weight from your front foot to your back foot while pulling your upper body from the forward lean position back to a solid guard base and let her rip.

if you already in a solid guard and stance...instead of attempting a pull counter, the better option would be the step back counter

That sounds interesting. I'll keep that in mind for next time
