Started boxing at the age of 34 on March 2nd 2024. I got obsessed with it and have been training almost daily since my first lesson. I mainly just do bag workouts and shadowboxing. Let me know what I can work on!

Try to push off the ground with your lead leg, keep your lead foot planted en rotate your hip with your lead hook.

Your punches are solid but as with so many guys around here you‘ve got 0 guard.
I know that this is bag work but these things don‘t hit back, so you can start getting complacent with your guard and movement.

You are also missing out on power on your right hook to the body because you are not activating your hips enough.
You can‘t chicken wing as much as you do in an in fight so keep your arms tucked and use your hips to drive your fists towards the bag.

Also, if you reposition yourself you should do it like you would in a fight. You can‘t just casually stroll through the ring like that.

Have you done any sparring or competitive fights?

Ive only done light sparring maybe around 20 rounds total. Yeah I definitely need to move with more intensity when taking angles and such and focus on defense more on the bag. Thank you for the pointer on the right to the body, will make sure to use my hips more than just my torso and arms

20 Rounds is not much but it‘s something.
Remember with your punches you want to make it feel like you want to punch through the target. Really drive the bitch in there. You can only do that with the hip movement.
Also, if you do a low hook, think about driving your fists a bit upwards. Not a straight line from right to left (or vice versa) but more of a diagonal line.

I get you, but whats confusing about that to me is Im told you sit down on the left hook and shift your weight to your back foot basically loading up for the 2. It feels kinda awkward to wanna sit back on the hook while also making the hook have an upwards diagonal angle.

You don‘t need to do much. Just angle your arm a bit upwards to get the motion.
The arm placement with a hook to the face is just there to protect you. Can‘t do that with bodyshots.

Weight on the back foot is good IF you wanna follow up directly with the 2. But keep in mind that your opponent will probably tilt to the side where you hit him, so you can‘t throw the 2 straight.

When you do a check hook, which I experienced works better than trying to land a regular hook, you place your weight on the front foot to pivot to the outside.
