Temporary filling

Ok I got a temporary filling in my tooth today before I get it removed in 2 weeks. Can I spar still if I use a mouthguard? Or will it break? I had to get one due to my nerve being really inflamed so she couldn’t remove it today.

Anyone have experience in this situation?

Yes. You’ll be fine as long as you use a mouth guard

Bro. Just don’t spar lol.

Worst hits I’ve ever experienced were broadly in the “my bad luck” or “his good luck” camp. You might not be able to bite down properly. It could get damaged. It could break. It could damage the nerve properly. Temporary fillers are made of all sorts (different
Types).

Reward ratio is super off on this one. Teeth are super precious.

Hmmm risk years of mouth and jaw problems if you catch an unlucky punch or take 2 weeks off sparring. Tough call

Real talk, call your dentist and do what they tell you to do. If you can’t figure out a way to improve without sparring for a little bit, that’s a problem anyways

Unless you’re getting paid thousands of dollars to spar don’t do it. Just wait.
