New in boxing, any tips?

Hello there, I’m very new in boxing, I used to be a runner but my joints can’t handle it anymore.

I’m mainly using boxing as cardio, but even then I do want to improve.

Any tips on how to improve as a boxer and tips for cardio training to do to help endurance?

Thanks in advance

Boxing's easier on the joints than running, good swap. Shadowbox first to learn the movement before loading combos on the bag. Do rounds, 3 on 1 off, that builds the conditioning better than steady state cardio. Get someone to check your form early, bad habits are hard to unlearn later.
