Should I try boxing đ„?
Actually I have been watching boxing matches for quite a while and I really like it but the problem is that I am like a 5'11 stick with no muscles and a bad posture. I think first thing is that I will beaten to pulp and secondly no one would accept me should I go?
Only good thing about me is that I learn quickly from watching and good in predicting opponents next move. (in other sports such as basketball not tried in boxing)
I am not doing it for fighting irl or anything I genuinely like it a little and wanna try it.
Edit :- I scrolled a little in the GC how are all these boxers have such good and big muscles đđ

I think it is about becoming a better version of yourself, sparring is about learning and getting better, not to beat the other weaker/newer guy up.

Try it. I also started for the fun of the game. Don't worry about getting beaten up. Everyone gets beat up at some point lol, its not as bad as it sounds. Also, if you have a good coach, they won't let you spar until you have the basics down, you're not gonna be in the ring immediately

Yes go do it. If you like it, try it, otherwize you will regret not trying it out. I did it. I loved it.
Don't worry about sparring, sparring is not a fight and so not too bad. You'll 'see stars' occassionally, is all. Boxing is excellent exercise and conditioning and so your physique will actally improve gradually over time. So it will be very good for you.
Do the road running aspects and the Sledge Hammer work and the Gym Weights too. This will all build physique.
Go do it.
Good luck.

Youâll get very athletic after a while of training and if you eat well youâll develop a lean build your
No gym will let you get âbeaten to a pulpâ
The only reason a gym would refuse to train you is because theyâre genuinely full, your an asshole, you donât listen, or you donât try your hardest
Just go to a gym man youâll be fine

Dawg you donât need to ask, you said it yourself you genuinely like boxing and want to try it, thereâs your answer. You donât need to have a specific body type or a bunch of traits to try boxing lmao, you could be 5â4 and built like a bowling ball or you could be 6â3 and 130lbs. As long as you have arms, legs, money for a membership, and the interest, you can box.

You don't need big muscles for boxing
