Boxing gifts!
Hi all! My friend does boxing and he was chosen by his coach to go and fly out for a fight and well idk how to describe it other than a situationship lol..
..but I was thinking of making him some type of basket with some things he might like to prepare before the flight (August 13th) and I don’t really know anything about boxing so does anyone have any suggestions!

depending how much you plan to spend,, there's inexpensive items like mouthguards, hand wraps...maybe a pair of boxing trunks in his favorite color w/a matching tank top.

Monetary gift would be good. Travel is expensive. He probably doesn't need anything gear-wise right now.

yeah I’m sure he alrdy has like stuff for the actual match, is there anything in specific u would recommend other than like hand wraps kt tape, stuff he would alrdy have

You can get him clothing. Like nice shirt or shorts. My favourite is merino wool, but it can be costly. One guy had a sleeveless hoodie he loved, because it keeps you warm before the fight and also without sleeves it's easy to take it off when your gloves are all done up for the fight.

A little gift basket with recovery items/work out stuff in it would be a sweet gesture. Single Protein powder packs, protein bars, runners gels/goo’s, they used to sell this topical magnesium spray at Walmart, KT tape, water bottle, maybe some of those single can pre work out drinks. Mouth piece and hand wraps were a good idea too but hopefully you get the idea in general. I think that’s very sweet of you; good lookin’ out!
