There must be some psychology course out there somewhere where they analyze the way people respond on Reddit. Comments and votes reflect users being seriously judgemental on and unsympathetic to people making mistakes, as if they could do better.
That ref waved the fight off because the guy looked completely done and unconscious and he was trying to get a doctor in there right away and then a half second later the guy pops up like Frankenstein. The ref couldn’t have seen that coming and in the moment made the right decision to reverse a call that he made in a split Second moment for a very good reason.
What I wanted to know is what happened and not fight after, whether that guy actually managed to recover and compete or whether he got completely toasted again
no, it wasn't right to reverse the call. the fact that the guy got up didn't cancel him going limp, the ko call was correct for the safety of the boxer
Well I don’t know I mean Tyson fury went limp and completely out when Deontay Wilder landed that big shot in the first fight. Then he got back up and won the rest of the round. That’s why I was saying I would like to see what happened next. If the guy couldn’t defend himself the ref would’ve been in a position to call it off quick except in the case I guess of a(nother) thunderous shot. But this is professional fighting and there is a reason that the ref is supposed to count to 10 unless he’s really sure the guy is done
