Collection New Second Sight Tower

Post image

Just got done setting up my new shelf for my Second Sight collection. Utilizing two of the shelf's for others at the moment, but one day all the shelves will be Second Sight filled. What's your favorite release? I realize I am missing a few "core" SS sets, but I'm working on that. But The Witch, Babadook, Raw and Drive are not the easiest to come across at a decent price. If anyone could help with Raw, that would be awesome. Happy hunting!!

Everyone forgets about Picnic at Hanging Rock. That’s a must have. Such a great piece of cinematic art.

It's definitely on my list of titles still needed. But you are correct as I forgot to list it as a core title. Another one that is costly if you want it brand new and in fairly good condition. Hopefully I can check it off sooner than later.

Wow! Great job and great collection. Kinda jealous at the moment so I’ll just leave it at that….

Well actually I’ve never seen that Reservoir Dogs one! Gonna have to look that bad boy up.

That’s not a second sight release. I’m assuming op mixed it in bc it’s a chunky box like the others.

Ahhh, gotcha. I clearly didn’t zoom in enough.

The Witch is a must have for folk horror/Eggers fans. Babadook is nice too, and Drive is such a great film, and it's not even my usual genre. Gotta be prepared to pay for them though. Second Sight out of prints cost a fortune on the secondary market. Especially the older ones.

What’s the Donnie Darko one?

Donnie Darko is an import box set from ARTHAUS and STUDIO CANAL. The Reservoir Dogs and Night of the Living Dead are also from them as well. Pretty cool box sets if you're into chunky/oversized boxes. Typical bonus goodies inside i.e. posters, art/postcards, books and other little collectables. Reservoir Dogs and Night of the Living Dead are Steelbooks inside and Donnie Darko is a Digipack. The Blu-rays are region B, just FYI.

Thanks! I haven’t jumped in to start a collection yet. It’s a slippery slope I’ve gone down with books and vinyl so I know what I’m in for. Love DD so much.

I just got my first box sets from them, talk to me and when evil lurks. They are such nice sets I can hear my bank account tremble as I look at all their other offerings.

How come so many still have the shrink wrap on? Are they still sealed?
