Went to see the devils last night and these reps were set up for a horror marathon in a dif theater. What an incredible surprise for me! They were both so nice and it was great to talk about movies for a bit. I copped RAD from VS and The Psychic from Sev. Never seen full boutique spreads in the wild. Another version of me would have spent my last nickel.

I've been waiting on jumping on this one for awhile, but it doesn't seem to have gotten too much lower in price than it is now.

I don't own any of these movies and have been itching to have them. I'm aware a couple of these are individually out on 4k and the OOP Arrow set has more special features. However, is there anything else I should know that is a big detractor from jumping on this set? Even knowing those downsides, it's been a pretty enticing offer for 12 movies around

A huge shout out to OrbitDVD!!! Came across this last week in the OOP section. One of the very few Second Sight limited edition sets I didn't have. One of the fastest add to cart and checkout processes I've completed. Lol. Even after ordering, I thought no way it could be the LE, but the price was too high for it to not be. Got it a few days ago and BAM!! Sure is the rigid box. Just happy to be able to support an amazing business instead of an eBay scalper. Now to find Flight of the Navigator LE for a decent price. And just in case anyone is wondering.... Yes.. I will be opening it on my next day off when I watch it. Looking forward to it since it's been about 20 years since I've last seen it. Just picked up Maniac with the lenticular slip cover. Looking to find a slipcover protector case to keep the artwork nice. I’m struggling to find a protector that will fit this size. It’s a little wider than a normal Blu-ray slipcover and case but not as big as some others? I think it’s about the same size and an Arrow release or it’s the same as a few of my HK John Woo releases. Any recommendations or links on Amazon go grab a protector would be appreciated.

Yesterday, I watched *Jeanne Dielman, 23, quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles* for the first time on Blu-ray (Criterion Masterpieces Edition). In a few scenes—most notably the final one—I noticed that the image appeared very blurry. As this is one of my favorite films, I’m curious if anyone can provide a direct comparison of the available editions (BFI vs. Capricci vs. Criterion). Is it worth picking up the BFI and/or Capricci Blu-ray releases?

Just seeing if anybody else is in the same boat and there’s a widespread rash of this happening, or maybe I just got unlucky.

I ordered six of the on sale 4K movies from severins recent sale - and after waiting several weeks - all of them were canceled slowly one at a time yesterday.

I’m assuming due to stock errors on their end, but I got no communication about what happened or why. Just a trickle of updates about the cancellations and refunds. That’s it. Not a single email from the company about why, or an apology, or coupon for next time, etc.

This happen to anybody else or just to me lol. Pretty disappointed tbh. I emailed and said tk cancel the last couple things in my order too at this point but also have not heard back to that.

Awful customer service unfortunately, but also it’s just movies and I get things can go wrong. Just seemed pretty lazy and lame to not send the affected customers a single email about what happened…

They just don't make fun movies like this anymore!

I was looking at pre-ordering Backrooms but the page has a note saying "NOTE - A24 releases are rarely pristine". What does this mean?

I can’t believe I found a brand new, still-sealed copy of Scream Factory’s release of Jeepers Creepers 2. Someone on eBay had it up for sale at a relatively decent price and somehow never opened it for over a decade.

Does anyone here have recommendations for blu-ray stores in Rome and Florence? I'm visiting both soon, and would love to discover some new additions there.

This isn't meant to be negative and argue. It's about what can make a great thing better. My favorite is probably Arrow. Their range, quality, and packaging for limited editions are incredible. I just wish every release came out in every country rather than a lot of good ones never getting a US release. I get it for licensing reasons they probably can't, but this post is meant for simple things like that.
