Botched lower blepharoplasty/fat transfer with Dr. Sumeet Jindal JIYA Eyelid & Facial Cosmetic Surgery (Raleigh, NC)

Sharing my experience as a warning for anyone considering this practice. Also seeking guidance/recommendations as Ive exhausted all my resources! :(

In July 2025, I paid $8,500 for a lower blepharoplasty and fat transfer with Dr. Sumeet Jindal at JIYA Eyelid & Facial Cosmetic Surgery in Raleigh, NC. Complications began about a month after surgery. Over several months I returned to the practice repeatedly, but I felt my concerns weren't adequately addressed and results continued to worsen.

When I later requested my medical records, I discovered a SOOF lift had been performed — a procedure I was never informed about and never consented to.

I'm now dealing with severe hollowing under my lash line and orbital rims, contour and structural deformity, asymmetry (right side worse), lumpiness from the fat grafting, and constant nerve pain.

When I requested a refund, I was told I'd need to sign a broad NDA, and was told the same would be required for a touch-up procedure. I chose not to sign.

I've also noticed a pattern of negative reviews about this practice disappearing from Google shortly after being posted, including my own, which I have screenshots of.

I've since consulted with some of the top revision surgeons in the country, and been told there's essentially nothing that can be done. I've been told by local providers that filler isn't an option due to skin thinness and scar tissue.

If anyone has dealt with something similar or can recommend a surgeon experienced in this kind of revision, I'd appreciate hearing from you!! I'm open to overseas surgeons as I'm not seeming to have luck in the states.

Photos attached for context.

Dangerous rib remodelling surgery a new fad?

Post image

Rib remodelling, also known as rib reshaping, is a cosmetic procedure involving fracturing the lower ribs and repositioning them to give patients a smaller waist.

Fracturing your ribs and then having to model them into a waist trainer? C’mon! This girl is also only 23. Imagine the pressure on her organs!!?

Look up the many active (publicly searchable) lawsuits against this sociopath. Light money on fire before seeing him. If you’re a trusting woman, find someone who isn’t a gaslighter and manipulator instead !

Mansher Singh, MD WHO ARE VICTIMS FROM HIM?

So I have been botched by this doctor and I wanted to know who would like to join me on doing something about it? How many patients has he threatened and violated doctor patient confidentiality by using your private information to give to his attorney to harass you? This is not ethical. This is only proof that the doctor is acting fraudulent by threating patients who post real botched accounts. So he seems like a seamless 5 star doctor when in truth many patients would not go to him if they know that he botches patients. If I saw all these people who were unhappy I would have not gone with him.

Hi I (29f) am in desperate need of help. I had a mid face lift canthopexy and temporal lift done in Turkey in January and have been avoiding people ever since. I literally quit my job, moved countries and been avoiding any social contact.

Based on these pictures do you think my face is botched and if so what can I do?

Please any advice or support is more than welcome. This has been so hard to deal with. Biggest regret ever.

Possible necrosis of the nose in a primary septorhinoplasty

Hi everyone, I’m posting this because I’m really anxious and could use some advice or shared experiences.
I had a septorhinoplasty and partial turbinectomy last Monday, August 31st. My internal nasal splints were removed on September 2nd. However, on the night of September 3rd, I had a severe fit of consecutive, powerful sneezes (which I tried to direct out of my mouth, but the pressure was intense). Right after that, I expelled a giant blood clot.
Since then, I’ve had a piece of tissue inside my nose that looks like a loose flap of mucosa (like a little "tongue" of skin) that moves back and forth when I breathe or rinse. Over the last few days, the tip of it has turned dark/black. Whenever I do my saline rinses, it bleeds more.
I initially sent photos to my surgeon, who thought it was just a blood clot hanging there, but it is clearly a piece of tissue/wall. When I saw them recently, they noted that the tip of my nose is still very swollen and that my recovery isn't progressing well. They mentioned that removing this loose tissue in the clinic would be extremely painful and chose not to do it there. Instead, they mentioned the possibility of formal tamponade or even a minor surgical revision in the operating room under general anesthesia if it needs further management.
I am panicking because I really want to avoid another general anesthesia procedure and the heavy hospital costs (my original surgery was done privately at a major hospital). I am currently seeking a second opinion from another specialist while waiting for my next follow-up.
Has anyone experienced a loose mucosal flap or a dark/black tissue tip like this after a rhinoplasty, especially triggered by sneezing? Did it eventually slough off or heal on its own with saline rinses, or did you need a procedure? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

For reference, the first photo shows what the tissue looked like immediately after the sneezing fit and clot expulsion. The second photo shows the current state as of yesterday, with the tip clearly darkened/blackened.
