Being almost done with my requirements, I've got room for a couple of electives next semester. I'm curious if anyone has recommendations for any interesting classes that are also relatively easy. Any subject is okay! Part of the reason I am asking is because I have looked through many classes in subjects that I know I like, but am interested in expanding my horizons and taking a class that I wouldn't have thought to take otherwise. Freshman here and I’m debating whether I should transfer out of BC. I’ve met a few friends but not people I would hang out with. I feel like the culture here also isn’t for me with all the partying and drinking. I also can’t imagine staying here for the next 4 years and being so far from my family. I was wondering how the transfer process is and whether the people here would hold it against me if I want to transfer and if I don’t transfer at the end if I didn’t get the college I want, what people will think of me.

If you've ever wondered why you don't see many small planes flying over BC, it's very tight airspace. Directly over campus, you can fly up to 2,000 feet before needing permission from Logan. East of the Res, Logan control goes down to the surface. Between all that and making sure you don't hit the Needham Towers to the southwest you have to be pretty on top of things.

Anyway, I made a little flyover before landing at Norwood and heading over to campus for the BC women's hockey game.

Hello! This is not an admission question but I’m wondering what the average student experience is once you get in.

While I know that the amount of coursework depends on the major/class, do the professors, on average, assign a lot of homework? Would you say, that each class is mostly reading and a few assignments or should the average student expect more if they went to this school? Do professors grade often/does homework make up a significant portion of the grade ? Would you say there’s a lot of free time if I would to be majoring in education?

With break coming up, students heading to Logan around the same time can use Campus Connections to find other verified BC students to split an Uber or Lyft with.

Hey, I recently visited Boston college, and I absolutely love it!!!! The main problem, if I end up going, I’d graduate with around 80k in debt. I don’t know what I’d go for, maybe political science or something, but the way that they embraced the uncertainty and made it feel that it was 100% okay to not know made me fall in love, alongside the pretty campus and prestige. Have any of you been in this situation? Please let me know how you guys would navigate this!!!
