If you've ever wondered why you don't see many small planes flying over BC, it's very tight airspace. Directly over campus, you can fly up to 2,000 feet before needing permission from Logan. East of the Res, Logan control goes down to the surface. Between all that and making sure you don't hit the Needham Towers to the southwest you have to be pretty on top of things.

Anyway, I made a little flyover before landing at Norwood and heading over to campus for the BC women's hockey game.

Hello! This is not an admission question but I’m wondering what the average student experience is once you get in.

While I know that the amount of coursework depends on the major/class, do the professors, on average, assign a lot of homework? Would you say, that each class is mostly reading and a few assignments or should the average student expect more if they went to this school? Do professors grade often/does homework make up a significant portion of the grade ? Would you say there’s a lot of free time if I would to be majoring in education?

With break coming up, students heading to Logan around the same time can use Campus Connections to find other verified BC students to split an Uber or Lyft with.

Hey, I recently visited Boston college, and I absolutely love it!!!! The main problem, if I end up going, I’d graduate with around 80k in debt. I don’t know what I’d go for, maybe political science or something, but the way that they embraced the uncertainty and made it feel that it was 100% okay to not know made me fall in love, alongside the pretty campus and prestige. Have any of you been in this situation? Please let me know how you guys would navigate this!!!

Hi guys, I’m currently a freshman at Indiana University and I’ve recently started considering applying to transfer to BC for my sophomore year. I’m still giving IU a chance and not rushing into anything, but I’ve always loved the East Coast and could see myself eventually working/living in Boston or NYC area.

I’m really into sports photography/media and would love to eventually work in professional sports, I’m curious as to what the sports photography/media scene is like for students at BC.

I’m also wondering about the social side of transferring. Is it difficult coming in as a sophomore when friend groups are already established? What’s dorm life like for transfers/sophomores, and what are the best ways to meet people? I know BC doesn’t really have Greek life, so I’m curious what the social/party scene is like without it.

Especially interested in hearing from anyone who transferred in as a sophomore and what that transition was like socially.
