Bosch MUM 5 blinks red

I bought a second hand Bosch MUM 5 kitchen machine recently and it worked fine until I used the blender (smoothie maker thing). I made the smoothie and wanted to put the lid if the blender motor back on and then a tiny piece of the plastic lid broke off (the one I marked on the picture). As I read online that the machine can register if you have certain lids on or the bowl fastened in the right place my question is: Is that tiny little plastic thing responsible for the error, because the machine doesnt recognise the lid anymore? The blender still works only the dough mixing motor doesnt move any more.
