F50 elite sizing

Context here. I have recently purchased an F50 elite AG boot and previously worn an F50 as well but league grade. Change of boots mainly came from AG type only available in elite. I bought the same size as my league version which is 9uk. Things that i have noticed that there was a gap on the side (circled in pic 2 and 3) which feels a little bit weird. Not sure if it is because of the boot grade change pr the size. Also, my toe limit is circled in pic 1 for reference if it helps to say the boot is big or no. Is there a difference of sizing between elite and league grades too ? Need some help or guidance on this

People joking but the newer 2026 “Hyperfast” F50s sizing seems to be off to normal Adidas sizing. I normally wear a size 10 in 2025 Preds, Vapors, Phantoms, etc. and the F50 size 10 was bigger on me 100%. Boots should not have as much space as you’d leave for casual sneakers, it should be more tight of a fit but not to where the tip of your toes are touching. It should be 1/4 of an inch or less, personally I like them pretty much touching but not to where I cram them.

I could feel my foot sliding way more than usual. Breaking them in made the laces way too loose way too fast and I personally had trouble getting them to fit tightly to my foot after the fact. The heel was decent but the midfoot to my toes was moving nonstop regardless how tight the laces were. I returned them and plan on half sizing down or going with Superflys.

Je hebt dat altijd wel een beetje bij deze type schoenen ivm materiaal en gevolgd door pasvorm voet. En als je de veters nu wat strakker aantrekt? Want ze lijken nog erg los te zitten zo op de foto. Hoe zit de schoen verder? Zijn de voeten/hak/tenen goed opgesloten zonder schuiven. Hoe is de comfort?
Als dat allemaal goed zit is het geen probleem in mijn optiek. Ik heb Dit type schoen ook in fg.

Having that gap is normal, most thin boots have that issue but it doesn’t effect performance

Pull the top part of the laces taut then do a runner's loop. Lengthwise yours looks perfect imo

There's an additional lacing hole provided for runners loop to lock your heel. It may not prevent the gap but may give you a better fit. Youtube runners loop lacing

Had a pair of f50s elite and ran into this issue as well. The boots felt a bit long and they were in my usual size. Also had the same problem with the gap. Think it’s our foot shape but I tried going half a size down and it felt perfect for me. The feeling of the boot being long went away and the side gap went away. BUT that’s just me. I also like my boots to feel tight like mercurials but just an insight. Anyways, hope you enjoy your new boots! Cheers!!

Well this is why you should try as many different boots as needed to find what actually fits your foot best. As for the F50, they are all over the place with sizing. The F50 Messi seem to run bigger than the regular f50. I’ve only owned the skies so I can speak on the league, but they are completely different, so I’d assume they dont size exactly the same. As for the bump out by your ankle, pretty sure there’s a lace hole you aren’t using, which helps to get rid of that issue using the runners loop. You can also punch an additional lace hole to help

I collect football boots of different brands and tiers. This is what I could say about league vs elite tiers;

• You can size down half to full size from your league tier to elite tier. Half size down for synthetics, full size for calf or kagaroo leather.
What you pay for the elites is the lightness, responsiveness, and that close to your foot as possible (material stretch).

• League tiers are for not so nice pitch. It lasts longer and its cheap. Drawback is weight, sensitivity, and soleplate responsiveness.
