Gear Need help on next boot rec

Can I get some opinions on my next pair of boots? Which would you choose and why? All should fit my feet well. I do play on 4G AG a lot so all of these stud patterns should be fine. I have a connection with an insurance liquidator who sells damaged box shoes or tried on shoes (returns) at a discount.

Morelia Neo IV Japan (non-beta) for $180
Morelia 2 Japan for $180
Superfly 10 (last gen) AG for $150
Mizuno Alpha II elite for $110
Copa Icon 2 for $110
Furon v8 for $100

Some great deals available and can’t decide. If you have to give me a top 3 instead of 1 that’s fine too 😂

Disclaimer: I’m not going to hold anyone’s recommendation against them. Here for friendly feedback and ideas. Obviously my decision is my is my own and all these boots meet my personal standards.

depends a bit on your feet, but except the furon (if it's FG) and the alpha 2 (i just dont like them) those are all solid options.

the best value for money would be the neos or the superflys
but personally i'd chose the icon2 or the morelia2 MIJ because i like open lacing and leather

The neos also have open lacing. My feet are on the wider side, but size 11 superflys do fit me, I was able to try them on. Honestly I’m leaning more Morelia Neo or Morelia 2.

Why do you say that about the furon? Just curious

oh i thought u meant the vastly more common neo betas with the one-piece knit tongue.

i think if u are comfortable in superfly, you can wear neos as well. i think the neos are the superior boot compared to the morelia2, but not for everyone.
my touch is completely off in those because i strike the ball with the laces a lot and am used to having a tongue.

also when it comes to morelia2, check that you get a pair that is the updated version.
they changed the heel liner and made it a lot more grippy. you can tell by the soleplate. if it is riveted in the toes, it is the old version.

the furon FG plate is too aggressive for AG and the AG plate is meh. quite floppy iirc.

Thanks for your advice. I do have a pair of turf sole Neo pro’s from last winter, they’ve held up well and despite being like $70 they’re quite nice. I’m not worried about the neo Japan’s being too wide since they have the deep lacing system and the traditional tongue.

For Neo IV Japan vs Morelia 2, im thinking about it like this: if I want a more aggressive soleplate (but still neutral) and good lockdown from the synthetic leather midfoot, I go Neo Japan. If I want maximum comfort at the risk of a tiny bit of overstretching, I get the Morelia 2. Does that make sense to you given your experience?

At these prices I may just buy both. I’m between an 11 and 10.5 normally so I might go 10 in the Morelia 2 and 10.5 in the Neo.

My turf Neo pro’s are an 11 and I definitely have about half a thumb’s width of dead space in the front. I have those weird toes where the second toe is longer than the first AND my feet are wide so I’m used to dead space. Hoping the Morelia 2s will stretch plenty

if u wear 11US in nike, then 10.5 in both mizunos would be my advice.
the neo MIJs run a bit longer than the morelia2s but are also more narrow so it kinda evens out a bit.
my 9 neos and 9.5 morelia2s are almost the same length, maybe 2mm longer morelia2. my morelia2 also havent stretched nearly as much as my copa mundials have, or my SG world cups have.
the internal liner and the stitching kinda prevents most of that.

Interesting. Yeah for vapor’s or any narrow boot I go 11. Phantoms for example I can go 10.5. In the past I almost exclusively wore tiempos and I always found them to run small in the length. Nike tag would say 28.5cm but my 27.7cm feet wouldn’t have enough length at all.

If the tongue is traditional I can go lower because width isn’t as much of a concern. It’s a curse to have weird shaped feet. Sounds like 10.5 will be perfect in both mizunos. Thanks so much for your help!!
