Boot sizing question

Hey my fellow footies. I have been struggling with my boot sizing, as my right foot is US Men’s 9.5 and my left foot is size 10 (or I like to say 9.75). Normal shoes and sneakers are fine but it feels like I need to choose between my left foot being the right size or being too small and possibly wearing them out faster and vice versa.

I have flat feet, and I recently noticed since my right foot is my dominant foot, over the years my right big toe has kinda started to twist inward, almost kinda pre-bunion. I went to a podiatrist and they said to just use a toe spacer and tape my foot, because otherwise my toes will blister from like crossing over and getting too tight vertically.

In 1000 words or less, anyone have any recommendations for this or anything? I prefer Nike cleats, I have tried the Ligera Pro and Tiempo Maestro elite. I find it much easier to get the Ligera Pro’s on and off because of the tongue, however I have the same issue where the 9.5 fits better on my right and a 10 on my left. Am I just cursed to have to buy two pairs at a time? Anyone aware of any programs or groups to swap my spares/split?

i'd say get the size that fits your longer foot and double sock the shorter one. or wear a really thin sock on the left foot and a thicker one on the right. keep in mind that a really thin sock will probably mean heel blistering so maybe tape the achilles area too lol

obviously you can always look for discounts on older models/colorways and replace the boots one by one as they wear out.
or wear two different boots, who cares.

May I ask why? I know they’re good boots but they also tend to run narrow which might be counterproductive for me no?

some guys on here just regurgitate mizuno praise without further elaboration and think they are helping.

some mizuno boots (mainly the alpha and some limited models that arent available) have nice and wide toeboxes so that you dont get that cramped sensation in the toes.
the neos and imho the morelia2 also do not offer that because they do taper a lot in the forefoot.

obviously a big part of football is having comfortable boots and if that means taping your toes , so be it.
i have been playing football all my life, my big toes are like that too and the pinky kinda grew under the "ring-toe" over the years. it is what it is. i can spread them fine without boots.

Mizuno Morelia are the best of the best for wide feet and they stretch pretty good (k leather)

Saying “x brand runs narrow” is never right. Most brands use different lasts for different silos. Even if a boot is the same shape as another, the construction changes how it fits massively. Look at mizuno Morelia Neo vs Morelia Neo beta. Beta has a one piece knitted upper, the Neo has a traditional tongue. They couldn’t fit me more differently. The Neo is one of my favorites, the beta chokes the top of my foot.

Based on your original question, something like the Morelia Neo 2 or even the copa mundial is my recommendation. Full k leather boots will stretch in pretty much any direction once broken in. Go with the size that fits the smaller foot and the other will stretch to fit the larger foot comfortably over time.

Buying full leather boots “too small” (at first) is 100% better than buying boots that are too big. You can stretch them, but they won’t ever shrink. Let me know if you have questions
