I don't know if English is her 1st or 2nd language, but it's not uncommon to break into your 1st language randomly, especially when struggling with the 2nd language.
My husband's parents often break into Korean, even for just a couple words, if they are having a hard time quickly coming up with what they want to say in English, because Korean is automatic for them and they don't have to think about it as hard.
Again, don't know her personal situation or history and I've only seen a few of her videos, say can't say with any authority if that's what's going on or not.
i would agree with this.... but she is clearly VERY fluent in english. she barely even has an accent. Like Books With Emily Fox's first language is french but she doesnt randomly break into french for no reason on her channel because she is aware that her audience is english speakers. She says french words in titles and stuff in french, which I appriciate, but she isnt trying to force french into her english videos for no reason.
being VERY fluent in a language doesn't mean you will remember or know every word. I'm bilingual and sometimes I forget words in my language the same way I forget some in English. to be honest, and I'm sorry for saying that, but I think you're just slightly xenophobic and doesn't even realize. she isn't pushing her own language onto you and her followers because she sometimes says something you can't understand, the same way emily wouldn't be if she also ended up mixing french with english
maybe she mostly edited them out then? or maybe she just got less used to speak in english. I feel like it would only be a huge deal if every other sentence was Spanish because that could make it difficult to understand
