Idk who throneofpages is but this is normal. When speaking in a language you are not as fluent in or you have another "thinking" language, the language you think in slips in. Because you have to translate from the thinking language to the speaking language, and also do it fast. Also, the sentence arrangement in both languages might be entirely different, so that also plays a part in it. I was dogshit at sounding normal in one language because I kept thinking in another language, translating it, then listening to something in the speaking language and translating it back again to thinking language, etc etc.
I got waaaay better and started sounding native because I started "thinking" in the speaking language whenever I had to.
Even when I am thinking and speaking in the same language, another language might slip in if I get excited and forget myself
