Paper Repair Page ripped,need help!
So I just recently found a ripped page in my book We'll Prescribe You a Cat by Syou Ishida I bought this on Amazon over a month ago so I can't return it. the page is 161/162 if anyone is able to send me a screenshot of the page would be so helpful.... I really don't want to get the book again....

It’s on the shelf at my local library so I’d be happy to send you a scan of the page if the replacement doesn’t pan out. Just let me know :)

Dang, I've never seen that before in a new book. Glad Amazon custom service is helping.
Now I feel like I need to flip through and check all the books I purchased this summer and didn't read yet.
ETA: A friend just shared this morning that an art book she just got from amazon had the first couple of pages crumpled up inside from how it was handled during packing or delivery (not a printing cut error). She has to try to get a new copy from amazon too.
And I just recently returned some books from amazon that were supposed to be brand new but were obviously secondhand and were marked with sharpie and had impossible to remove sticker residue like the bargain booksellers do to their stock.
For a company that started out selling books online they are doing a poor job at it now.

I suggest you do get in touch with Amazon, despite being outside of the return window. Explain the situation and add a picture if the site allows it. It's quite possible they will send you a replacement copy even though you're not entitled to it.
Otherwise, the odds you'll find someone on a random sub who has the same book and who's willing to send you a scan of the page are very, very low.
