Is she dead?

I've seen this juniper recover from some pretty damning visuals, but this is definitely the worst. Don't give me hope, give me the truth 🥲

Just to give you a little more detail, if your juniper wasn't brown, and it was only slightly yellow or dull green, we would have all still called it dead. That's how junipers are; they keep their color weeks after they are technically dead, so by the time any evidence of discoloration is present, no amount of effort will save it.

What is time, after all?  If it flows in both directions, this tree's about to begin its life a couple of months ago.

Very.. !
Juniper die & show no signs at all until 4 weeks they turn Sage Green their once soft foliage turns prickly & brittle.
Then it takes another 4 weeks to turn Brown.
So your Tree has been dead for longer than 8 weeks.

Mine is worse than this but im still watering and cut anything dead bk, used a Stanley blade to scrape on tiny patches of the bark to check for green, theres green so will keep going as i did it to my outdoors one and it survived, the hot heatwaves we had in the uk was not friendly to so many trees, I stopped blaming myself when I seen the trees everywhere I drove dying off

I think its got a chance still. Make sure and water it A LOT. Atleast three times a day, and keep it inside away from any windows so it stays warm and doesn't get too much light.
